Just learned that Hannover young gun Waldemar Anton has Uzbek heritage. I wouldn't be surprised if they checked on his eligibility.

Yep live on fox.

Thanks man. Was looking on FOX sports and didn't see it listed.

"Tune into Fox Sports News and foxsports.com.au from 6.30pm EDT Tuesday to see where the Socceroos’ fate lies. "

Also Youtube. Link is in the relevant thread in AF.

Not really. India are that dreadful at football. They've always been dreadful, but if anything they seem to be going backwards.

Not expectation wise. Situation wise.

India improving dramatically would be great for Asian football.

To win the big one?

I put a tenner on that when it was $1001 on Bet365 a couple of weeks back, funny the odds only go down one dollar once we make it through Round 2!

Given countries have figured out how to rig the rankings why not?
(If we make it)
I don't think or at least hope we wouldn't have such a tough draw.

Can tell Coral are keeping a keen eye on the A-league. 500-1 on Central Coast to win the championship? shut up and take my money

India is one of the biggest disappoints of the qualifiers.

If they cant beat Guam it will be hard to qualify for the Asian Cup. Having India qualify again for the Asian Cup would be great for the AFC.

Only conceivable change is UAE and Saudi swapping spots as 1st and 2nd if the UAE get the win, either way they both qualify.

FT 1-0 Iraq v Vietnam. 20 minutes to go in Iran, 2-0 up against Oman.

Lock it in: Australia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iran, Japan, Thailand, South Korea and Uzbekistan in first, with Syria, China, UAE and Iraq as best 2nd placers for Round 3.
