Agree about Brook and his lack of end product.

How Jordan ends the half with a full team is totally bemusing. The player on the yellow who then got a 'final warning' for another rash tackle should have been off. We are not entirely clean in our method of tackling (two foot stomps to start the game), but Jordan are pretty dirty and the stereotypical divers of their region of asia. Farrell got pinged for barely a touch (if any) but our player on the edge of the box who definitely had more contact on him and an obvious initial movement to block his run got nothing. Weak refereeing in a couple of critical moments for a ref who clearly can see what goes on but chooses to ignore it. This match has all the feel of a killer goal going against us and not making the top two in our group.
When I wear their colours, I am the club.

Bility in the first game seemed very lazy watching a ball heading out and not chasing it - until his opponent ran it down and Bility was lucky/skilful enough to block the cross. When a ball goes past him I now worry every time that he will decide it is not a danger. Miller has such fast feet and great composure - he belongs out there and I am enjoying watching what he brings. Yazbek takes cheap shots in the ALM so no surprise he got a yellow early. Brooks is a timebomb with his 'fiery nature'. His finishing aside, he is a risk of a second yellow and should be off as soon as can be managed.
When I wear their colours, I am the club.

Why did kuol pass with four red shirts in the box and 1v1 with the keeper?

Soft pen
the ref is odd but in this case at least odd for both teams and not biased

Previous comment talked about how we have gotten excited about previous generations if youth
but i think thats only true of u20 and u17
i can only one other time remembered getting excited about a u23 cohort and that was the last one
our youth teams have usually declined a lot in relative performance after u20 (or even u17) until very recently imo

So what happened there? Hammond got elbowed in the jaw and turned around? Was the turn viewed as a punch or something?

Great character again to hold on there
arguably our worst performance but we have shown some steel
i think we conceded one goal and it was a tracer bullet from distance
