I think Behich might come in for Davidson / or McGowan in for Elrich (just to change it up, Elrich has got the RB spot nailed I reckon) Rogic could be replaced by Cahill, with the formation switched to a 4-3-3 - Milligan in behind Luongo and Mooy, Burns, Cahill, Leckie up front.
Brattan may come off the bench to make his debut. I think you're right. If you are going to replace Rogic with Cahil, then he can't play as striker, Rogic was in midfield. Plus Cahill doesn't suit a midfield trio that we are playing, he can't defend and often gets yellows when he tries. His only suitable role nowadays is as a striker/specialist header, but he can can strike a ball. But unlike having a front 3 of Burns, Leckie and Luongo essentially, who all defend, pass, try to take their man on, Cahill is lacking and you can only play one way with him there really, as much as I love him, he is not as mobile, or up to date. I think Behich for Davidson. Wilkinson coming on for Wright. Luongo to slot into Rogic's spot, but be subbed on. Leckie to go on the right wing. Oar to replace Burns. The spare spot going to Cahill as an all out striker.

Rogic takes the Socceroos to the next level. Hard to keep him from starting already. This match hope Ange shows trust and doesn't start McKay, there is enough class around now.

BUMP:
Can you tell I'm bored?
So I decided to compile a list of our 6 best players currently for each position in a 4-1-2-3 formation. This is just my opinion and I'm sure there will be debate, but forgive me, I could talk about this shit all day. I've decided to include some injured players and leave off others, like Rhys Williams, for various reasons. Also the list is heavily skewed to younger players, and players with potential to possibly contribute to the national team, rather than players whose international career is over, as I feel this is an important transition period. A-league players are probably further down the pecking order as its been a long off season but they'll get their chance to impress when the season starts. I've also only allowed "one player for one position" knowing that guys like Milligan can play AM and DM well and Leckie and Burns can play up front.
GK: Ryan, Langerak, Federici, Galekovic, Vukovic, Cisak
RB: Elrich, Franjic, Brillante, McGowan, Geria, Risdon LB: Davidson, Behich, Gersbach, Galloway, Brad Smith, Elder CB: (2 x 6) Spiranovic, Sainsbury, Wright, Wilkinson, Jovanovic, Mrcela, Topor-Stanley, Degenek, Thwaite, De Vere, Donachie, Dougall,
DM: Milligan, Jedinak, Griffiths, Irvine, Valeri, Brattan, AM: (2 x 6) Rogic, Luongo, Mooy, Troisi, Antonis, Bozanic, McKay, Amini, De Silva, Naumoff, Clut, Nichols
Wingers: (2 x 6) Leckie, Kruse, Burns, Oar, Ikonomidis, Ibini, Halloran, Duke, Mabil, Hoole, Pain, Williams Strikers: Cahill, Juric, Bulut, Taggart, McLaren, Gameiro
Sorry for any glaring omissions.

Very, very interesting that he recalled Cisak. Clearly rates him.
Will be good to see what he thinks of James Meredith.

Finally another left back in Meredith. All he needs to do is be able to defend and pop a couple of crosses in and the left back spot is his.

I watch NPL players under pressure cross better than Davidson under no pressure against Bangladesh and Tajikistan

It will be interesting to see how Meredith goes? Even some EPL teams ( albeit with better club players) play a less technical style of football than the Socceroos, so it will be a challenge. Having said this, Luongo, Wright, Davo (better while with Heracles) and formerly Rhys Williams, have done well (at times in Williams and Davo's cases) for the Socceroos whilst playing Championship and League One football.

Feel like Mabil gets too much shit for his finishing. He managed to improve it by the end of the season, yet people will still remember the goal line clearance  Also until recently, Leckie couldn't hit Gina Rinehart with a bass guitar, yet he has almost thirty caps.
