You know your old when you can remember the names of the original Power Rangers. The pink ranger was the stuff of early teenage fantasies Edited by scotty21: 5/10/2015 10:12:04 AM

You turn on the radio and all the new songs sound the same. So you tell your daughter back in my day we listened to these songs.

Still got just about every game released on an emulator on my PC and some USB N64 controllers (just a couple of bucks on ebay) and can play any time. :) Also have an emulator on my phone, I use mupen64 on android. Any decent smartphone should run it no worries, although using on screen controls can be annoying.

When you don't understand massive cultural phenomena because you were too old when it occurred is very jarring the first time it happens -
I first noticed this when the 20-somethings at my work make Harry Potter references in conversations and I have no farking idea of what they are talking about!

Also, noticing retro fashions like the return of the 90s flanny shirts etc AFTER you actually lived through the 90s the first time round!

I don't know if the kids these days play with marbles. I used to have tonnes of them. I remember being able to head down to Kmart, even some milk bars to buy marbles. The bad arse kids always had steelys

Yo-Yo's made a brief comeback in the late 90's. If you didn't have a glow in the dark one you might as well just not bother. Digimon's got banned at our school because people would sook it up when there digimon died in battle.
