Victoria's top tier is establishing itself as the strongest soccer competition beneath the A-League, with another player set to make the transition.
MV is exploring the possibility of signing Hume City attacker Jai Ingham for the rest of the season after he impressed in recent games against Kevin Muscat's side, including their gutsy FFA Cup Semi-final showing.
Ingham, 22, has trained with Victory for three weeks and the football department is likely to use the new "mature-age" player rule, which would mean his wages are outside the cap.
