+xLooks like we'll hit 100k for the round after the Perth game tonight. Wouldn't be that confident. The weather is pretty fucking atrocious here.

That makes a progressive total of 87,719 for the round, already the eighth highest round attendance, and with two games to go!
We only need 18,363 to equal or better the record, if we can't do that with at least 9,182 each in Perth and Newy they should both be relegated.

We only need 18,363 to equal or better the record, if we can't do that with at least 9,182 each in Perth and Newy they should both be relegated. Looks like a big crowd in Perth. At least 12,000, probably more.

9501 in Perth, so Newy need just over 10k to break the record.

To Wanderers and Syd FC fans that attended the game, what do you think was the breakdown of the crowd last night?
Me personally about 40k wanderers to 21k Syd FC. what you think?

I thought there would be more Sydney FC fans spread out through the sideline, didn't seem to be many, either way 61k is fantastic for a domestic football game.

Wouldn't be surprised if we hit 100k in round two as well. We probably should. Melb derby, Sydney at home to the Mariners, Perth, Newy and Adelaide at home.

+xInteresting that the Nux got more than Perth and Newcastle Not that interesting with glory. Storms all day and raining most of the game. Unfortunately our stadium only has a cover over about 20% of the crowd. Be nice if we had a bit more cover for the odd wet games.

Not just AUS where attendance is on the up... Mexico beat NZ 2-1 in Nashville, TN yesterday: Saturday's game between Mexico and New Zealand, which ended with a 2-1 win for El Tri, was the second highest attended game in Tennessee state history-- last year's game between the U.S. and Guatemala at Nissan Stadium had a higher attendance of 44, 835. Is there a soccer crowd in Nashville? You tell me. Since last July, three international soccer games at Nissan Stadium have drawn more than 110,000. Tonight's efforts probably won't go unnoticed by MLS officials.

R2 attendance prediction:
Adelaide v WSW 10,500 SFC v Mariners 14,500 Melbourne 48,000 Jets v Roar 9,000 Glory v Nix 9,000
Total 91,000 which is pretty good. Would need SFC to do something special to top 100k
