pes is looking much better because of the manager mode.  and it looks like the data transfer is fairly straight forward so you can get the teams and names on board.

PES 2017 is $61 on ozgameshop. Really cheap.

never will though to many little shits with parents trying to shut them up pour money into it year after year sad times. I purchase both fifa and pes every year. I play fifa for a more "authentic" cm mode but i love the master league have since the old ps2 days good time... good times

this is what they are saying - but i actually dont know anyone personally that buys the game for FUT.  everyone i know or have ever talked to is into career mode.  the only reason why they stick with fifa is because of the licensing of players and clubs.

Lets use Reddit as an example. The FIFA subreddit dedicated to FUT has just over 67,000 subscribers while the subreddit dedicated to career mode has just under 14,500 subscribers. I wish career mode was better too, but unfortunately fact of the matter is until FUT isn't making them money they don't have to really care about career mode

I mean for me personally I only buy FIFA for FUT, for everything else from a football game I get from PES.

It's undeniable that FUT is more widely played. It's the only reason that EA has been content with sending out shit career modes each year.

they havent monetised career mode in the same way. its value adding to the business model to push FUT. the lack of depth in career made means die hard fans are more likely to take on a FUT mode just to engage the game.  

im 99% sure im going back to PES. it's always been better to play anyway. ive only been on fifa for 3 years.

Need to lose all these objectives and simply tighten up the financials and transfers within the game - it's too easy to take an average club and be able to sign the best players in the world within a couple of transfer windows. 

So I'm at Brisbane Roar in my manager mode.

Season 1 - win pre season cup. lose 3 games, coast to premiership, win grand final 4-0.

Season 2 - win pre season cup. Manager approval rating based on new system is 98. One of the financial objectives for me is to make 22,000,000 from youth sales within 2 seasons. Here I am trying to build a good squad and with aging Roar talent I try to keep youth for the future, so I'm finding it difficult to sell youth players, especially for that amount.

I win the first game of the season, by this time my manager approval rating drops to 56 because I haven't made one youth sale after ONE GAME, and they sack me. I intended to continue building a few promising youth players in the hope I could maybe get 10-15 mil.

Now I'm stuck at Adelaide who have a crappy squad. I'm disappointed.
