+xSomeone mentioned babies earlier...we've just had our first actually only 6 weeks ago. Anyone got experience with bringing babies to the game? I'm wondering whether it's worth trying or not to bother You should have asked this question 12 months ago. I would have told you not to bother (although the trying can be fun).
Full trophy cabinet (but yours looks a bit empty) ! Reigning BACK2BACK 442 A League and World Cup (Mens and Womens) Tipping Champion - so yeap, I do know best !

I'm wondering whether it's worth trying or not to bother I've seen babies in the NT before with earmuffs on. I have taken kids from years 3 upwards. My onkly comment is on toddlers - either get to the game at half time or just before kick off. They get bored as fuck real quick and you have to leave. I've been to games for 10 minutes before a meltdown forced me to take them home. Other times you can see most of the match

If they get too unbearable just stick them with St Johns so you can watch the rest of the match :P

+xnicknamed Burrito (in English, "Little Donkey")
"Martínez is best known for his agility, pace on the ball and brilliant dribbling skills." I'm still shook from the last guy we signed famed for his dribbling skills. The King of the Dribble they called him...

His brother Nico played for Wanderers. When Wanderers signed Nico, I posted we should've signed Burrito then, but he went to Velez. Burrito is a better player than Nico. He was great last year for Velez. He will absolutely dominate in this league and Berisha will get at least 5 more goals than he otherwise would have. Take a look at youtube if you want to see some games from last season where he played well.

The only time Austin looks better than a state league player is if he has 30 yards of space, and even then he fucks it up half the time.
Shocking performance all round though, structure went to shit in the second half.

Why were we so shit?
Seems the problem was up the other end in the second half so I can't figure it out.

@ paladiscious
It's frustrating we can't see these games but I'll lay a bet:
At 0-3 you weren't shit.
At 5-1 you weren't that good.

That whole left side needs a serious review.
Also buying will prove to be bad business.

+xThat whole left side needs a serious review. Also buying will prove to be bad business. Broxham at LB is serviceable with a right footed winger playing. When Khalfallah carried the ball centrally, Broxham would always make the perfect overlapping run. When Austin is on the pitch, Broxham looks lost as Austin only goes to the byline, no variety at all. I thought Kosta was one of our better players last night.

Whole structure turned to shit in the 2nd half which is the biggest worry. Austin and Kosta weren't tracking the full backs and Valeri looked quite off the pace. Troisi was having to drop much deeper to get on the ball, and Millsy had a poor game. Can't recall Bes getting too many touches in our attacking half from oepn play. TBF though, Adelaide did step it up quite a bit and started to play which i think shocked them after the first half where they did very little.

Yep. This guy and a good LB would round out the squad nicely. We got absolutely nothing from that side all game and will continue if we don't upgrade in Austin and to a lesser extent Brox / Negro. Isn't Theohoraus (spelling?) a left winger? I would prefer to throw him in tbh as it stands

Doesn't want another Pasquale situation.

This is a real dark horse. There's only one source reporting on a link with Victory so far, by one "Covert Agent" on Goal.com. He went back to his original club Velez Sarsfield after leaving the MLS on an 18 month deal in January this year, but with a 6 month mutual termination clause, and isn't listed in Velez's official website as a current player. This could have been activated with a move to LDU Quito in July this year (as inferred by the goal article saying it's his present club, although I think he just got that off the conflicting entries on his wiki), although I could only find articles suggesting via autotranslate that a role was offered but no confirmation if one was accepted. I haven't seen him in any recent LDU Quito match on Soccerway. I guess he's a free agent now? He was the 15th highest paid player in the MLS in his time with Real Salt Lake in 2016 on about US$1.5 million, and while I imagine we have a fair bit of cap space to play with I should think that those figures alone would make it a coup, although perhaps his time in the US was the peak of his valuation. His nickname is Burrito though so I definitely hope we get him.
