I don't know if he's injured or not but why didn't we give neidermeier a run? Del Pierre wasnt too good for ffa cup.

Disappointed but not upset... ffa cup still hasn't got me,  still feels like a warm up match,  i let the wife watch the block while i did other stuff then skipped through the recording. 

Anyone standout or struggle for victory... i did see troisi looked like last years version,  should be not just get him out wide in these games to get him used to it again he was great under ange there.

We looked unfit and off the pace. Which we were because we started pre season late this season. Good on APIA, they came to play and deserved the win. King Kenny looked good (scored a brace) and Storm Roux was our only other shining light.

Kenny scored goals, but I didn't think he looked good. Especially his close control, he spent most of the game chasing his touch. 

The actions he had to do first time were good though, such as his two finishes. He's going to be a great plan B, but last night cemented why I think he'll be just that. 

Roux looked decent, but wasn't impressed with Brown at all. 

Concur with above. Kenny's first goal was well taken but the second (for those that didn't see it) had basically crossed the line. Keeper had given up on it, maybe it even had already crossed the line but being there was no good camera angle to really tell. 
Would also add that Hope looked more dynamic than anyone in our midfield all game. Though I think he had one big error leading to a chance (was watching in dodgy stream so couldn't pick out players that well).
Broxham also let the Japanese guy stroll in and take his first goal, and made a terrible pass leading to the second. 

I thought the service into him was very poor and the team tried to use him like we used Berisha (he's too different a player and the need to adjust how they play). He had an outstanding touch in the box that led to a shot that sailed over the cross bar The second goal was one where you have to be in the right place at the right time. I agree we need another striker, no way can we go into the season with one decent striker in the squad.

I really think Hope has a very bright future ahead of him, I hope (heh) he starts alongside Antonis this season. Deng was shocking all night, so many misplaced passes and was beaten in the air in the last goal.

Yes he did mean it. I think people are still judging Kenny on his unfit just come from NPL form. He looks much improved imo.

I hope so. Kevin keeps playing Valeri though. I thought Broxy was worst on ground because he coughed up mistakes for two of their goals.

Ah good. He did show some good signs towards the end of last season.

Anyone have info on North situation this year. You can now move around? (which realistically you could anyway) More importantly is it general admission or you need to still be a member?

The new guidelines allow anyone with a valid ticket or membership to access a ‘North End Standing’ bay and enjoy the different match day experience – subject to capacity – with casual or one-off supporters also welcome.

Bays 36, 37 and 38 will now be ‘North End Standing’ areas at AAMI Park on match days, while the designated bays at Marvel Stadium will remain the same.

So from that i think tickets will be sold for that area under the name 'North End Standing'.

I can't see  juric going anywhere other than wanderers. 

I would love for Juric to come back to the A-League where our seasons are shorter and his injuries will be properly managed.

Would also get the chance to play in the ACL if he signs for MV.
