We are seeded 7th i think of the 12 teams, yet given the hype of The Matildas here I think many are are expecting we challenge for a medal. Personally I think a quarter final exit looks pretty likely.

We got to fire andreatta, blayney and dower asap… nothing has improved with them at the helm for 5+ years.

Bit of a worry 

On the one hand i think we improved from the last game, more movement off the ball and more organized press. We actually did well to create some chances through the middle of the park but didnt get the shot away quickly enough

Germany were just better and i worry a gap is opening up now that the sport is professionalizing in europe

It is a real worry. I think the womens youth teams look like the mens youth teams in asia 20 years ago and we had a missing generation

How much is those yiu named and how much is the bigger football nations are getting their act together and have a huge infrastructure advantage (fully pro leagues with p and r, academies etc)?

Amazing given the way they've been playing of late. Is that necessarily a bad thing if it goes over a lot of fans' heads? Not to be patronizing but football isn't the only reasons so many young people turn up. The hype and trend is there and are some Ultra, if not all, really there for the football itself?

That's the FAs deal. The APL are a separate entity now. They'd be rueing the day they decoupled.

FA absolutely flushed with cash now and even more in the future.

Van Egmond gets worse each game. I cannot for the life of me fathom out how even a clueless coach like Gustavsson can continue to select her in the extended squad, let alone pick her in his first eleven.
