So if we finish 3rd, we probably go through but would be very likely to play Spain or France in the quarters. Not sure what the expectations are on the girls? We are seeded 7th i think of the 12 teams, yet given the hype of The Matildas here I think many are are expecting we challenge for a medal. Personally I think a quarter final exit looks pretty likely.

Yep, coming third, even if we expand out the scope a bit and allow for 'upsets', us coming third will result in either France/Canada on one end, or Spain/Japan on the other.

Hunt, Gorry and Nevin out injured.
They bring in Heatley, Frier and Gielnik. 2 players who have never played.
Makes no sense, what about a proven cb and winger.
Eg Morrison/Mccormick or Simon/Harding/Ayres
