Fuck me dead all night Dwight will do plenty of damage off the pitch in Newcastle that's for sure! He's still got a bit to offer on it as well... What do you think about the FourFourTwo article Yorke is back [RUMOUR]? Have your say.

if only this were true..... but in imagination land it is AHAHAHAHAAH!!!!!!
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

I hate to say it, but this is exactly what the Jets administration need to be doing right now. Whether it's true or not, who cares? They are facing a massive haemorraging of goodwill, and the club might never bring back fans who walk away right now. Give them something to cling to - even if it's just a dream - and they will hold on tight.
Maybe it's time to ask Covic where he wants to go, and have Bosnich lined up for a guest spot if necessary? Or bring in Stan Collymore?!
Bread and circuses, alas.

I think this might be true. There is talk around there about to sign a massive player. I'd love to see it anyway.

I just don't get it. When Yorke went back to the UK he rubbished the A-League and now people are desperate to get him back. His only function would be as a crowd-puller. His playing skills are dubious and so is his commitment.

Talliman yopu obviously don't know anything about football. Wanchope retired over a year ago and is now managing the Costa Rican club Herediano.

He will do good things for the league and it would be awesome to have him play at the same time as Fred but I think it would only be to Sydney. I don't like him though to be honest i think he is arrogant, anyone read his comments in the latest 442?

No macktheknife ur an idiot! The source actually happens to be someone who was assistant coach at sfc in Yorke's time and now works for the Jets (if you have a brain I'll let you figure it out). btw this is NOT a rumour

Well isn't that great... i can write my own name...
Dwight would fit into the "old and creepy guy drinking milk at the counter" crowd that so regularly frequent fannys.

Can he cut it at 37? He could be a crowd puller, but does he still have the goods, even for the a-league? However, I'll believe this when I see it. Everyone, don't get your hopes up, the jets management have a funny knack of talking the talk, but definitely not walking the walk.

Mate he has the goods for Sunderland in the bloody EPL! If an Australian was getting as much playing time as yorke they would be in the socceroos. Also I saw him play against the States a couple of weeks ago. Looked really good, fit and sharp. Plus he scored and also scored against Cuba on Wensday.

Ok, point taken, but isn't he regularly warming the pine at Sunderland? I think Keane should give him more of a go. Edited by MidfieldMaestro: 21/11/2008 10:43:54 PM

He's still on the books of an EPL club so he should be physically fit. He's accustomed to the league but we all know how Newcastle screws over their high profile players.
