I really want the coaches to put their hand up and take responsibility. It will make me feel better and I'm more likely to forgive them this year and have hope for next.

The first time in my life I've switched off the game. 60 years a supporter and I just can't watch this fvcking mob dish up this garbage week after week. They look disinterested and should be ashamed of taking money under false pretences. And you know what hurts the most? The Titans are playing like absolute sh!t and are still killing us.

His performance at Manly was terrible and ended badly. There is a world of difference between being a head coach and an assistant. His assembly of a roster has seen key spine position recruitment inadequate. I fear all the assets he has for next year may be wasted. No evidence of player or team improvement this year 

After this game, I'm hoping our players go to a pub, break covid protocols, catch the virus, spread it to players throughout the NRL and have the season ended. 

As I type that.... BBO scores and his reaction is to shake his head in disgust and say Fuck me...

If BBO hasn't proven he should be playing 60mins min and first choice ahead of anyone else, Barrett must be sacked ASAP

ME TOO but I think he was justifiably pissed that Waddell didn't pass it in the play before - both hetherington and waddell had chances to draw and pass in the game but played Tolman/desball and took the frigen tackle - the guy is a goer big time - half the size of pea heart Okunbor with twice the effort and brains

I am not sure what Baz is trying to do this year, he doesn't have the players, but this mob were playimg better under Pay.

We will see how he goes next season with more talent.

Tough game. Jackson and Hethrington try their arses off. I really feel for them. Avo is much better in the six. Hopefully Burton can play in the seven. But I’m surprised that they haven’t given Avo time at fullback. He must move their eventually. BBO is our hooker, hope he is signed up for a few years. 

That kind of reaction speaks volumes about the coach and about the players. It's like Gutho going off at his players but in a much more professional and subtle way.

I'm glad he did it. I hope the club hierarchy saw it and people speak to Barrett because tonight he lost me. And when the coach loses me, he is good as fekked and will not last passed round 8 next year....

I see it as absolutely no guarantee at all that buying a team will change things- at a minimum it will take much time for combinations to start working. And I fear maybe Burton and JAC and Dufti are starved of ball for a whole season.

And don't start me about buying a culture- we can't expect dickheads to change to bulldogs non dickheads without some tough love and that won't happen overnight unless they inject some Jackson Lamb Poller-Mounter etc DNA into Pangui Vaughan and mufti

BBO, Schoupp and Topine were the only good things to come out of this season.

Other young players like Averillo, Wakeham, Doorey and a few others have been mixed but will be better for the run.

Hetherington good, but his game needs a lot if work.

The other recent recuits are all duds, Napa, Flanno, Wardell .. Allan is at least average.

The attitude and effort from some of our senior players isn't there.

Jackson and Thompson give it everything, BBO and Schoupp are goers. Okunbor shouldn't be playing.

Baz needs to drop some of the passengers, including older players not putting in.

We have been gaslighted in the beginning of the year . The players are not playing for him you can see he has lost the dressing room .  Most of these players are not that bad they would thrive in a good coached team ..If any of the players come out and say they back Barrett then you know all is not well .

Manly has bombed 4 try chances.
They better win by 14 so I get my $1.45....

I am hoping you are wrong, this team has too many duds and is lacking leadership.

Vaughan is critical for us, if he wants to prove a point, he can provide some the leadership we are missing.
We had to gamble on TPJ and Vaughan because our forwards were not competitive.

Burton is a leader and a competitor.

We need more forward leaders and some experienced hard heads, Thompson and Hetherington unfortunately get suspended too much, but part of that is frustration.

Same for hooker, I want a starting hooker who is a competitor and a good defender,.

The coach and team have to set standards.

I just want smart players.
I dont want talent....just fekking brains.
Would help if the coach picked the right players too and didnt constantly play failures....

Ok Manly with all their smart players will beat their dumb opposition by 50 now.... they bombed 4 tries in 9 minutes but will smash the sharks now....

Culture can't be bought.

Blaming others for the rubbish we serve up is fantasy land and just gives the team and coaches excuses.

DCE and Turbo are in a mood.

Des has NOTHING to do with this. It's all them 2. They decided the Sharks edge is in 6s and 7s and they are taking full advantage of it - no matter what the gameplan was.

Next season is more about settling standards, being competive and building the culture.

Baz also needs an off season review with Gus, the coach has to play a role in setting standards.

This season has been abput easing players out and treating them with respect.
