Just finished watching the movie "42" for at least the 5th time...could be more and on Netflix so ultra convenient. It is the story of Jackie Robinson, first black man to play major league baseball. Superb cast headed by Chadwick Boseman and Harrison Ford. Rivetting story and every time I watch it I hate redneck USA just a little bit more. But this time I watched it inspired by recently announced Baseball Hall of Fame induction and that was Buck O'Neil. Buck was a good player but not a great player. But as an ambassador he was and is unsurpassed. He played in the Negro Leagues and was responsible for starting the Negro leagues Museum. When he was 94 he went on a road trip through America to promote it and that was subject of a great book "The Soul of Baseball"..he truly was. Anecdotes galore including "hearing" Babe Ruth batting...he said he heard a sound when the ball hit the bat that was unlike anything he had ever heard. He said he only heard that one more time and that was Josh Gibson....one of the Negro leagues best..great book, great movie. Maybe even get to 6th time soon.

You only like it as Alexander Gudinov is in it! Also could and have watched it multiple times....but could also say the same about "Taken" though it would be better if Liam's daughter had met some horrible and gruesome end..preferably early in the plot.

I saw the new James Bond movie. I liked it. They did great putting it together to such a high standard during covid times. 
The ending is a love it or hate it thing, but it is what it is... It's a major spoiler so I can't say anything about that & suggest anyone planning to watch it avoids reviews, articles etc.

I did the same with Spectre. I just knew it was rubbish so didnt watch it till it was on foxtel. Its Craig. Hes just not a Bond. This whole screenplay has been a mess and i hope they get back on track with the next Bond.

I didn't have high expectations for this one. The production restrictions due to the pandemic combined with preamble about it being too "woke" etc.

But it was fine...
