I thought i was the voice of reason and what i say on here, goes....? I wanted Des sacked... i kicked up a stink (on here)....and although it didnt happen overnight....it still happened! Dont think the peoples voice isnt powerful.

True, but the covid debate here is more pointless than normal. Talking about the Dogs is at least something that we are all interested in the it is hard to discuss elsewhere. Talking about music and other topics is interesting. Talking about Dman's adventures is amusing. Anyway I won't fuel the covid fire, I've said my bit.

I said you were posting bullshit. To be fair to him Zef, he simply stated what he knew. And he knew 2 people that died shortly after vaccine. Could be coincidence, could be directly related. You think not, he thinks yes. It doesnt matter. You arent going to change his opinion and neither he yours. He has his reasons and you have yours. As for me, im probably the biggest fence sitter on this and most likely to change my opinion and stance. I dont doubt the vaccine as a tool against the original strains, but fvcked if i think the current "boosters" do much and im almost certain moving the goalposts on timing between 2nd vax and booster to 3months is nothing but a straw clutching exercise by the government to gain only a small percentage of "waning boost". I have defended the government throughout this pandemic but its quite obvious when these latest decisions are BS and knee jerk reactions. Im calling them out on it on this particular response action and believe me, there are more fence sitters like me feeling the same way.

I’ll give some benefit of the doubt on the first accusation of “horrific results” of the Covid vacc’s on the basis of he hoped (without checking) there’d be some numbers out there to back him up… which there isn’t… or maybe he just didn’t think anyone would check. Some benefit of the doubt on that… But it’s still bullshit. Complete and utter bullshit. Bullshit, bullshit, bullshit. On the second issue of everyone in the Dept of Health falsifying figures to keep their job, there can be no doubt on that - Complete deliberate bullshit, no mistake bullshit, absolutely 100% pro-active bullshit. On Bullshit Island, that’s considered complete unadulterated uncompromising bullshit - and it’s full of bullshitters. Bullshit with a capital B. Bullshit, bullshit, bullshit. To be fair again Zef, if you lost someone close to you, whether it was due to covid or car accident or vaccine induced or coincidental to vaccine, you'd probably describe it as horrific event. You need to understand the sensitivity. Is the death rate horrific? No way. Dont think that can even be argued. Perhaps you two are talking about 2 different things. As ODF has said, he has seen 2 people he knows die shortly after the vaccine. Whether it was the cause or not is up for debate. But he has been spooked and he is allowed to follow his instincts. I dont blame him, id probably react the same way. Statistically however i dont agree its a huge issue. My issue is the push to vaccinate kids in order to increase chances for oldies (or grandma as Dman puts it). Robbing Paul to pay Peter without caring or knoeing the full effects on Paul doesnt sit well eith me. Not yet anyway. Maybe in 5-10 years with "more data needed"

And another quote from the same report: "The results indicate that two mRNA vaccine doses prevent SARS-COV-2 infection most effectively".. come on... that shit was debunked by a CEO of a major pharma himself. You have to sift through ALL sources of info and weed out what is bullshit or irrelevant before forming any opinion or coming to any conclusions. You mean the two supposed deaths that you told me about on an Internet forum? Not great evidence. However yes the deaths that may have occurred after vaccination could be taken into account. But then my logical thinking brain looks at the chance of death from Covid vs Vaccine and the answer is clear. The vaccine offers a greater chance of survival.
And no. Two doses protect very well against Covid infection from most variants but omicron requires a booster. The effectiveness of boosters and the new vaccine d for omicron needs future studies. Im still waiting on your evidence mate. Beware the post hoc fallacy. After therefore because of. Most quoted example: after the rooster crows the sun comes up. Very powerful and influential that rooster. In other words more information or evidence needed. Logical fallacies. Thank you. Can you point out exactly where I made that mistake. I’m trying to understand and I can’t see it. Not you. An earlier post. I assumed you were referring to an earlier post by I think ODF Thanks mate. I Understand. So if you want to talk Bulldogs (and other sports when the Dogs are not playing) that's fine but please give this fucking virus thing a rest because we will keep going around in circles forever. The problem is though is you made claims that appear to be false at first glance. And you continue to make these claims without evidence to justify them.
You can feel free to post whatever you like. But you must accept that you will be called out whenever you post bullshit. Please. If I ever post anything you or anybody else may disagree with. I hope that I’m called on it. That way I can learn more. I hope you have learnt a lot today.

I am not sure if we should have Duffy or Averillo at fullback,or perhaps even the Fox. I will predict Patolo as player of the year, even though it is a long shot. Very impressed with the kid in a handful of games at the backend of the season. I recon he will add plenty of impact off the bench and might be at starting prop by the end of the year. Long shot, but I'm in a gambling mood.
