+x+xLooks like Parras premiership window is rapidly closing. Mahoney playing well in a beaten side. Broncos flukey as ever though, that obstruction no try was a sh!t call... Reynolds was never going to stop that try even if unimpeded. I'm sick of seeing trys overturned due to this stupid set of rules which aren't looking for an obstruction but focus on whether a player catches a ball on inside or outside shoulder. Parra had no intention of running through a defendive hole by Reynolds. They were passing 10m deep and were spreading the ball. Reynolds may have been impeded from plugging a hole in the defensive line buy Parra was already passing deep and wide. Stupid call Stupid or not players have to play to the interpretations of the time. Don't get in the defensive line in front of the ball.

+x+x+x+xAverillo out, Foxy for fullback or prop? Well it won’t be Dufty Might be Credence. Casey and Kiraz also a chance. Good thing we are getting rid of Duffty, too many fullbacks. Losing Averillo is a blow. He's been our best player for afew weeks now. I'd put Toia in at fullback who will be solid but we may not have the same attacking prowess of late. Missing JAC too. I recon our team has been reshaped as a team wth pace, losing Averillo and probably Fox takes the edge off there. Also the continued lack of Thompson. The Titans have Campbell back. So not an easy game for us. I do hope Toia gets a run, I would like to see what he can do at NRL level. We need a win - Go Dogs!!!!!

+xRFM 3 more years - I'm happy. Geez 3? Hope it's not an expensive deal. I like him, both as a player and a person, but I see the club has not learnt the massive difference between 2 years and 3. Flanagan was signed for 3.

He’s an excellent re- signing whom injury free has his best years in front of him. A perfect one two punch combo with Kikau most likely off the bench but they’ll probably do minutes together too Ray in the middle setting Kikau free. with TPJ, Max King, RFM and Kikau we’ll be offloading, late, and have 2nd phase options for 80 mins.

Some people have been bleating that Okunbor is not first grade standard...watching this game, I am not sure he is NSW Cup standard either.

They did come back from trailing 0-22 to win 39-26, Okunbor seems to be good for at least 2 dropped balls per game. If that was a betting option I would have $1,000 on it every week and I'm not a betting man.

According to the NSWRL site Morrin started at prop, if true I doubt that he will be playing against the Tits.
Patolo likely to take his place.

The thing about Okundor is it is hard to believe someone who is 6'5" and about 110kg plays with virtually zero venom.

The thing about Okundor is it is hard to believe someone who is 6'5" and about 110kg plays with virtually zero venom. If Okunbor could fix his catching the attacking side of his game would come together. Defensively there are multiple issues, but on the wing his ability to turn and chase is non-existent. He needs to study old videos of Chook Halligan, boy was he a slow winger, but defensively my memory is that he was rarely caught out. Okunbor is partially a victim of playing multiple positions, he started out in the forwards. Defensively he didn't have the workrate to play in the forwards. How to get the best out of him is a mystery. I would consider having him on the bench as someone who can fill in the fowards or backs. If he mostly comes on fresh and plays limited minutes, provided he catches the ball, he could have an impact.

Halligan was The Rock. Give him the ball 10m out with half a chance and he’d find a way to get there every time and then convert it…not so much from any further than that but still….
One of my favourites. Love players who wring everything out of their not so much natural ability.

Nobody mention Skelton yet? Heard him mentioned on the kennel so I watched the game today to check him out.
Third game of rugby league. The guy is a weapon. Has great balance and powerful fend. Great all skills and decent speed. Plus he is huge. Played centre but is most likely to be an edge forward.
He could be a superstar. I’m looking forward to seeing how he plays next year after an offseason. But I would love to see him get a run this year. He has the talent.

I only saw parts of the first half so didn't realise we were 4 tries behind. Tuned in second half to watch draw level and then turn it on to win comfortably. He looked very strong in the parts i saw. I also noticed Wakeham was very good too.

The rule used to be 21 named Tuesday, 19 named 24 hours before game the 17 one hour before game. Special exemption needed to change. May have changed with all this COVID thing.

Not a bad half at all, but the boys need to be switched on regarding their kicks close to the line. They have no scored two tries offchip kicks into the goal. Plus I wish Blocker would lay off, he has nit picked everything we have done and it is not as though every other team do the same thing.

Another try from a kick in gosl..... are these blokes ever going to learn. Where the fvck is the fullback, out on vacation or what. We need Averillo, fvck covid. The ref is nit picking as usual.

Burton a must keep now . We hadn't had a dominant player since the Lamb and SBW years . I reckon a few premierships could come our way with these young crop of players . Casey , Kiraz, Shoupp averillo. They seem to have their heart for the club. Time will tell I suppose .

Avo is far from the best positional fullback. But looked much better than Casey today because of his speed. Casey cost us at least three try’s because of his lack of urgency and poor play. He was the invisible man today.
We look great in attack. But look terrible defensively. If we can defend like we did under Baz and attack like we do under Potter we could make the finals.. Next year we better do much better.

Yeah he sounds good from all reports. Just good to get the win today, Casey just off the pace for NRL fullback. I was hoping Toia would play. We are getting a lot of cheap tries off intercepts. If Averillo plays we clean up a couple more kicks and probably win comfortably.
