Once again ripped off by a contentious call. That ball from Perham was never forward yet the fuckwit with the whistle knew that Averillo was off for a try and called it back.

If Averillo wasn't called back we win that game. The pass wasn't forward yet Klein decided at that moment to call it a forward pass. To me that is bordering on corruption because that single decision definately altered the result of the game. The Dogs once again robbed by pathetic, incompetent refereeing.

A couple of 50/50s didn't go our way, but 3-4 poor plays at their end cost us.

I recon that the team will learn a lot from that game.
We made dumb errors at critical times, including switching off in defence a couple of times.
Flanno to play 9 next week, I am expecting him to go well, the position suits him.

We needed to ice it by the 65th minute but inept refereeing rears its ugly head once again. That one pass sealed it for the Rorters but Klein only had eyes for us. The Rorters threw a plethora of forward passes but nothing to see here.

Only saw the second half.... a game we really should have won. That pass to Avo was line ball and only floated forward before Avo juggled it. It was a 50-50 and went against us but I'm really pissed off that we can't rule or contest such calls. You can't have a ref or touchie making a split second call. But I'm also disappointed with the game management with 10 to go. Going to the wing on 4th tackle play was poor from Burton. should have turned the ball to inside and set up for FG. Having said that, although his pass to Perham was poorish, it should have been taken. Both that dropped ball by Perham and the catch and pass to Avo proved costly in the end. Didn't see the first half (will watch the replay) but I feel it's a constant issue with Perham....

We were the better side for 70 mins, the 10 where we weren't some 50/50 calls and bad luck cost us. The long term trend is improvement. Edwards and Morrin great again, good debut from Rajab. Okunbor going ok in the second row. Limited minutes from Sutton, hopefully not an injury, but Patolo will be a contender next game.

Any player released by The Eels should never be signed. I hope Blake Wilson ends up at a QLD team, he is a gun....
