+xGood news that Brock Hamil has resumed training after chemo. What a tough kid. That is great, this is one young bloke I would love to see play NRL for the Dogs. Anything he gets, he has earned, he will be an inspiration for other young kids.

+x+xWhile I agree with zefs sentiments earlier this week re Bennet, I couldn't help but laugh my ass off today hearing seibold has had a 'gutload" of the coaching swap delay... No doubt part of the broncs and seibolds plan was to sign early and put pressure on Wayne to leave... Then when he signed with souths they though how clever are we... It was a dumb plan to think you'd get one over Wayne... The smart move now is to suck up their pride, sack him and pay him out... It is a game of poker....whoever blinks first...at the moment Bennett has the chameleon eyes Broncs blinked... Question remains - Have they handled the whole thing appallingly, or did they have an ace up their sleeve?... I hope it gets messier tbh...

Bennett plays the sour pri*k very well who would ever guess he was like Jim Carrey in real life.

Well at least things don't change in the world of NRL........... the new season hasn't even started and Bennett and the Groncos have turned it into a circus already. It would be nice to see Bris or Souths (or both), beat Parramatta for the wooden spoon. While I am on the subject of wishful thinking, it would be absolute karma if we knocked Newcastle out of contention for the 8 in the last round and stealing their position for the semis...... As I said, wishful thinking.

The spoon is a bit of a lottery, I can see the Groncos with Seiboild doing well, they have a lot of talent on the books. Souths have a good squad, but it all depends on how the Burgess boys get on with Cranky Wayne, and if the NRL tweak the rules in favour of a more up tempo game. These days Souths, the Sharks and Newcastle are trying hard to buy success and be the new Roosters. I previous era's (before 2008) I was sympathetic towards Souths, Penrith and the Sharks. Now I can honesty l say I don't have a shred of sympathy for any other NRL side, that is good as we are playing hated opposition each week, every win will be enjoyable.

More rumours and assumptions... Details of the sacking supposedly commercial in confidence... Loving it... Get messy!!!... How do you think the broncs players will deal with precious dibber dibber seibold if the rumours are true?... Will Alex Johnson play first grade if he leaked details of a private convo with Benny?... Who from Souths leaked info re pre season to seibold?... What will the likes of lodge and tpj do re their contracts???... NRLol 'the bold and the beautiful' of world sport!...

Do I think we can give the 2019 season a good shake?.......... You bet I do, and the new comers will add not only a fresh style but also new enthusiasm. Pay can finally rud the team of the old Desball mentality and do it "Dean's way". I feel much excitement and cheering in the up and coming season.

Wasn't that one of the blokes who some suggested we should do a Klemmer trade with? Interesting he was fighting NSW Captain's brother...if it was a Bulldog players' third cousin twice removed it would attract a Bulldogs' headline

I can see the headline now "(Would be) Bulldogs Player involved in Brawl". () = likely to be accidentally omitted.

Darius did speak well...as club captain...as is his job (& was probably ordered to by the CEO/board)...but he had a resigned look of despair about him. Based on his history of following Wayne around, the body language etc, there's no doubt he would've preferred Wayne for the extra year. I wonder if he'll end up at Souths somehow. Bit difficult with Inglis in the way, but who knows...

More talk about high speed rail by the government. I cant help but laugh...
What do they consider "high speed"? 180kph?
There is no "high speed" rail in this country. Even suburban rail running at 60kph grind to a halt when it either rains or it hits above 35 degrees or a mouse runs across the tracks..... c as n you imagine a roo or wombat gets slaughtered by the fast train?
And that's not even constructing it. They'll probably come across a family of worms that cant be displaced and will introduce an S bend that slows the trains to 40kph - conveniently!
