That's what I like about vinyl, if it is recorded in the lead out groove on the dead wax, it never fades out. :)

+xHey Marki, glad Steve didn't pick up that Freudian slip re the signing of the words. Yes. Error on my part. I think its "Sending out an SOS" Anyway....I googled and found out that the answer is 24 times depending on when the track fades out...…!

+xWhere is Dman? Was it something we said? Come back so we can have a shared gloat about how we were right about Dutchy :) Speaking of right..... How bloody right have I been the last few years? For ages I was telling everyone how crap Des was, Lichaa was/is, that our roster was not up to it, that our gameplan sucked, that we invested too much cap on forwards, that Dragons would be top 4 this year, that it would take us 3-5 years to become a force again...the list goes on and on.... Come to think of it, there's hardly anything I get wrong. Even Trump!

+xLooks like another slow day on the BDP.... Ok pop quiz.... How many times do The Police sign the line "I'm sending out an SOS" in the track Message in a Bottle....? May I pose a question as to groups that people don't really like...The Police would just about be head of mine...liked the first 3 Steely Dan albums but hated pretty much everything after. Could name the Doobie Brothers songs I like on the fingers of one hand...probably Angus Crichton's hand too. Chicago also lame.

+xLol. Brad Abbey named on wing and Cotric on wing. Even Ricky has realised he can't read a rolling ball. I have a feeling Abbey's career is about to end as soon as Ricky dumps him altogether. Sorry....Cotric at fullback....

+x+xit's probably because we are travelling like sh!t ATM. The litmus test is not who you can attract to the club, because that can and most times does come down to money. It's when you can't retain who you want, and it's not about the money, that you know something smells around the place. ...or when they "homesick".....

+xI have noticed as of late, the number of players rejecting offers from the Dogs. If the true reason be known, it's probably because we are travelling like sh!t ATM. The tide will turn and when it does they'll be lined up trying to join us. Too late then though and besides if they don't want to be part of us when we are down then their "DNA" is not good enough at all. I am sure that if any player is unhappy with their current employer, Easts or Cronulla have a spare $1M or so in their "cap" to accommodate. Some players will recognise the opportunity.. as to so called rejected I would have doubts as to whether the rejection was based on a legitimate offer or merely from feelers put out by the club.

I am sure that if any player is unhappy with their current employer, Easts or Cronulla have a spare $1M or so in their "cap" to accommodate. I think money is part of it.... But at this stage, they are not sure if the club is going to be going forwards or backwards... so that is part of it... IMO there are already some promising signs and I'm happy with the new players we are bringing in to the club..... The next stage is making the club more attractive to sponsors so we can have more TPAs... I would run with a no DH policy for that reason ... they next stage is to play attractive football.... get good crowds and get good results .... be a good news story... I can't see the NRL changing their formula and the easy way to get results is to just buy proven stars like the Roosters... that is not going to work for us .. but having a good development pipeline delivers just as well .. especially if we can be good operators in all areas... Don't underestimate the amount of stuff we got wrong is just about every area over the last 5 years...
