I have noticed as of late, the number of players rejecting offers from the Dogs. If the true reason be known, it's probably because we are travelling like sh!t ATM. The tide will turn and when it does they'll be lined up trying to join us. Too late then though and besides if they don't want to be part of us when we are down then their "DNA" is not good enough at all. I am sure that if any player is unhappy with their current employer, Easts or Cronulla have a spare $1M or so in their "cap" to accommodate.

No need to duck BN. I've also noticed Tolman playing well and actually making meters in general field. Still receives passes close to the line that do nothing but I can blame the hooker for that for not using him as a decoy. In the last 7 minutes against the Tigers, I actually wanted him on the field as it was all about protecting the lead.

What is this world coming to...Marki on Tolman's side. Aidan prepare for sharp pain between shoulder blades

Anthony Don stays with Titans for another 2yrs.There was talk of Dogs interest

To be honest we are probably interested in everyone at "our price".

But most of them don't want to come for "our price"...

Sooner or later we will find good options at "our price".

He's one of the most durable players at the club along with Jackson & maybe a few others. They just seem to shrug off minor injuries, aches & pains to keep going hard in the front line. It takes a major injury to keep Tolman off the field, when many other players would need time out.
The settler on the 4th in the attacking zone is what does everyone's head in. On one hand it buys the halves a moment to plan ahead, but on the other hand it gives the defence time to set. It's definitely up to the #9 to pass to the halves in that situation. Speaking of the halves, when they're throwing the ball around trying to spark something, asking questions of the defence (cliché), I've noticed them cut-out Tolman. Seems like they know he'll take the settler & end it.

Lichaa did go well against the Tigers, including a try-assist to put Dutchie over. He certainly wasn't humiliated by Robbie on the day.
There was definitely something wrong with the Tigers before & during the match though. It was like they were completely morbid & out of it the whole time. They weren't the same team they were the weeks before & I don't recall seeing them like that this year.

As for Tolman (& I'll probably have to duck a fiery Marki post just for mentioning the name), before he was out injured for a while a lot of errors & penalties had crept into his game. Once he finally returned from injury he's had that stuff out of his game. He's gone quite well & been reliable for the team since he's been back. Maybe it was the presence of Woods (who was having similar errors & penalties) & starting off the bench, possible tension or something, who knows.

Marki, your capacity to write crap is exponential...Lichaa had a good game and it was acknowledged by Villi and he wasn't insulted by our star goal attack so it must have genuinely been good. Still going to be hard without Klemmer

WTF? Slow day indeed.

Any way we can get Lichaa to pay the club to play? He obviously had a good run under Des and took a decent chunk of our SC afew years ago so he added should do the right thing and pay us back. Think of it as some sort of Negative Salary Cap Gearing.... he pays us 100k and it increases our cap by that much!

Jokes aside, they're simply sugar & water whipped up in a frying pan. They separate half the mix & expose it to air to discolour for visual presentation.
There's a 3rd ingredient, but I think it might just be preservative, not sure.
The harsh reality is probably not ideal for a marketing managers blurb, but don't let the facts get in the way of a good myth (especially on a quiet day on here).

They have strong character with complex and mildly spicy qualities. Ginger, citrus, star anise and herbal elements radiate on the palate. They're almost arrogantly consistent, you know pretty well what you're going to get. With a whole bunch of honeycomb and vanilla, always more delicate than it first appears, salivating delivery with caramelised rye absolutely hammering on the palate. The corn oil is there not for the flavour but effect. It's a fabulous mixture with dates & Demerara sugar having the biggest say, all wonderfully long with the sweet toastiness now really beginning to bite. Superbly intrinsic, relying on deft fruit notes as key, then flattens somewhat as the toffee evolves. Wafts of pristine pear and semi-ripe apple feature with underlying marshmallow bordering on sublime. Finishes perfectly balanced, with gingerbread, sweet spices and hints of Manuka honey in the aftertaste. Undeniably delicious!

It can't be true...Castlemaine Rock is to be no more. Sold in the old gold town of Castlemaine in Victoria since the mid 1800s a declining market and increasing costs have caused its demise. By the way DO NOT ever pronounce the name Castlemaine as CAR-SELL_MAiNE...it is strictly pronounced a la Mama Cass.

HD, isn't it funny how Easts, Melbourne, Brisbane, Cronulla all have the capacity to lure players for "less" money. This is exactly what I mentioned earlier. The NRL seem to turn a blind eye to the shady dealings of these clubs yet appear to firmly enforce their regulations on others. The NRL heirarchy is the entity that requires cleaning up.

Yep spot on. How anyone can use they play for less money at a Sydney club is a joke. Sydney is 1 of the most expensive cities in the world to live and no one is taking less money to live there. It is a complete uneven playing field despite the NRL and media's claims that the salary cap evens out the comp. The fact that we lost probably our best 2 outside backs to Easts and Cronulla with their already stacked rosters is a disgrace and makes a mockery of the evens out the comp claims.

HD, apparently a player from the Storm called Scott Drinkwater refused a Dogs contract for 2019I’m not sure what position he plays.... I think it’s in the halvesIf that’s the case.... then that would kill off them K Elgey rumours we’ve signed him

Drinkwater is mainly a half ....2-3 years ago he was highly rated...

He would be wise to come to the dogs, he is in the queue at the Storm behind better players....

For me the appeal of Oates is you could start him in the 2nd row and move him to the outside backs if necessary to cover injuries,.... he runs hard tough lines, makes yards, breaks tackles and can score a try.... I"m not sure how he would convert to the 2nd row .... The Cows are probably more desperate than we are and have more money to spend, The Broncos have a good track record at ($$$$apparently$$$$) (ahem) getting players to stay for much less.... :)

I'd rather we sign Seggy than Oates...we have enough backrowers with Smith and Nelson showing lots of promise from ISP.

Need a fast centre and an agile, running frontrower.

The problem is Big T, the past month has seen Segeyaro’s value double off the back of some really good performances.....Like I said last week, Oates in the 2nd row would be brilliant for the teamAll we need is some speed in the backline & another No.9Lichaa played well vs Tigers, but he just can’t string good games back to back this kid at all, and the most frustrating thing about him is when we are in the Attacking red zone.... the awful attacking sets really start from him

I'm impressed with Woolford, if his defence is up to NRL standard, he is the answer at 9.
