I am drowning my sorrows after a barrage from my mates.

He is learning how to be a halfback that is why he isn't controlling games.
I  would not be surpised if he ends up being a centre or even a hooker.

Deano said have patience, I'll be patient as long as we show improvement most weeks.

This week was better, but we really had a dream start, even then our attack didn't look potent. 

This season looks like a long hard fight for fans, the coach and players. I'm on board for the ride.

RFM was the 2nd one, that was unlucky.

The first one was dumb play from us, we should have know Fergo was after the intercept.

Our attack is a bit limited, we are looking to go around teams way too much, should be hitting holes or running at the halves more often close to the line.

On the form lines so far you would have to say we will be lucky to avoid the spoon.
But if the team and coach keep working hard, we may be able to salvage the season.

Putting it into perspective Lewis is the best halfback we have had since Kimmorley,  but Lewis is still learning the position.

I didn't see the game, I missed it due to family showing up at the worse possible time but they come first. Villi I am gutted that last years spooners put a score like that on us but not having seen the game I can't comment. We can't blame who we let go or who walked away from us because they had their reasons so let sleeping dogs lie. The team we now have have talked the talk and failed, so now they know what they have to do to walk the walk and only time will tell if we are duds or a genuine item. Two games into the season and while we have shown that our current gameplan is unlikely to bother many sides it is not the end of the world at this stage. Having said this if we don't improve over the next two weeks it becomes a concern. Too many more after that and unfortunately Deano might want to get nervous about any further tenure in a coaching career as it is his job to turn things around.

What’s concerning is we are at full strength.... Parramatta had 4 first graders out. The Warriors minus Shaun Johnson & a few others towelled is up

Desparate times call for desperate measures but nothing would be desperate enough to go to the kennel. Most of Parra's tries were on the back of mistakes. Ferguson's intercept which was predictable was the straw ...if he didn't take it we would have scored but the pass to him was pretty perfect.

Villi, yes we are at full strength, but what, full strength reserve grade side. To compare our side with any other first grade side is a blatantly obvious example of how totally ineffective and biased the NRLol's salary cap is. The rorters for instance could sideline half of their team and still field more regular first graders than we have on our books.

But pay is absolutely responsible for the ridiculous reshuffle of our edge players...

Experts on radio 2gb aying meaney was bought for a reason and should be at #1 with hoppa in centres...
Obviously they've never watched meaney play, and have forgotten what hoppas D was like at centre...

But, as I said earlier, we have to work with what we got and one never knows what diamonds in the rough we have that haven't shined yet.

We should be front loading Foran the entire amount we have up our sleeve so we have more wiggle room next year...

Anyway most agree Odgen and Smith should be promoted.

Most agree Montoya should be demoted, IMO Sue and Lichaa are the other players on shaky ground.

And move Holland back to the right.

dman, insane or not, they were Pays decisions and if he can't find a solution he will pay the ultimate price.

How about just moving players back to where the combos started to click at the back end of last year...

Yes also good to see RFM combining well with Foran.
We know Holland and Smith played well together last year.
If we have C Smith on the bench move him to the right edge and Jacko to the middle.
Lewis needs a hole runner with an offload. 
Perhaps if Martin can improve his D he can get back in the side.
Also happly with Napa, and mostly with Elliott and Danny F.

Yes totally agree. Be a better coach and admit changing sides on an average roster, was a big challenge even Bellamy couldnt manage...or even contemplate!

Its put extra pressure on guys who are small and unfamiliar with their usual roles and default back to one out and Tolman on the 4th/5th.

I dunno maybe clutching at straws.

Still get the sense that the team can be picked better. Gotta face facts though, it's gonna be a poor year.

HD we have too many average, small tackler only, or mistake riddled forwards .  Cant have Tolman, Elliott, Faulualo, Sue in the team IMO. Replace with Martin, C Smith, Ogden, Toomaga. Probably not an answer but must be given a go with nothing to lose *shrugsshoulders*

JJ needed to move to lock last year when he put on all the extra muscle, and let the rest fight it out for second row... 
Pre season I said Martin had to start with RFM earning a spot from the bench...
As much as I love Elliot hes having little impact... Danny F tried hard today..

I though lewis' D today was awful, but that's possibly a complete lack of trust in his outside men...
