Sorry for RFM, he made 50 tackles in Round 1 and was not the worst by far in Round 2. The problem was when Parra got a glut of the ball a lot of guys were on the back foot. Good to see Lewis and Foran swapping. Give Lewis a chance to get the ball in hand early and prove he can take control. I would have preferred to drop Lichaa and keep RFM and have Martin relieve JKM. Cant wait, hard to expect a win as the Tigers are good early front runners. But it is not the Lightning Stakes but a Melbourne Cup.

Sorry Lewis and Foran are not swapping numbers, I just hope that Deano gives Lewis the chance to call the plays. This year the go is to pass long from dummy half or have the 7 play quarterback and call the runners.

So 1Dog thinks the selection committee go after players without the coaches input/blessing.... please!
So with that thinking.... I take it the cheerleaders pick the 1-17 each week too as Pay has nothing to do with that!

Anyone who thinks the coach is not involved in negotiations or has no idea what players are on and not regularly advised is either deluded or supports as team of nuffies.

That's not to say the coach is in every negotiation, but he certainly gets a phone call after every negotiation and most certainly when final signatures are penned. The ones that say they arent in the know should be expelled for cheating the cap.

Maybe even as deluded as people who blame coaches for signing off on player payments under the SC instead of the CEO, CFO and board... Of course the coaches have an idea, but they're not in charge of the coin, and if they are, then its still the CEO and Boards fault...

I take it the cheerleaders pick the 1-17 each week too as Pay has nothing to do with that! A coach needs support in that area, because they've a job to do (coaching the team) and don't or more to the point shouldn't have the time to watch all the talent on offer particularly in lower grades around the country... Did 1D steal your supercoach trades this week, cos I can't figure out why else you'd be trying to twist his words... And based on the whole left right switch, the promotion of an undeserving meaney, and dropping RFM, it is very likely the cheerleaders are picking the 1-17...

+xTell me what he said again? No worries, I've been doing your home work since year 8... "Dean Pay doesn't have full say in all the purchases" not "the committee goes after players without the coaches input/blessing"...

The selection committee got it wrong.

Burns has been great.... I did the same too
This is the mid $$$ type of players we desperately need at Belmore that just need a chance to shine like Bennett has done with him after Seibold pretty much brushed him last year
