+x+xI just realized Rhyse Martin has that Craig Polla Mounter look and feel about him. Time for an eye test. It is the 5 o'clock shadow. Dogs get 17.5 start against Melbourne this week...hell of a lot...or is it??

+x+xSlink, if your feeling is right about Martin then we are in good shape. I see Martin as our captain in not too distant future. Jacko is a leader by example type player but not the most convincing talker to refs. Martin speaks well and given he is PNG captain he can fulfill that role well and also have some respect from the refs and NRL due to his stature in the game. Unless JJ relinquishes the captaincy, there is no way the Dogs would take it off him. I thought captaincy diminished James Graham's effectiveness and was a hindrance to him but he wanted the job. I have a feeling Martin will be the next "fan favourite" to leave us unfortunately.

The cheap shot on Cronk looked bad last night. He didn't even have possession & got totally blind-sided & smashed in the back.
Brisbane only just got rid of their grubby Lock during the off-season. You'd be forgiven for thinking it was same grub that did it, but it was just the same jersey number.

You'd be forgiven for thinking it was same grub that did it, but it was just the same jersey number. But is a cheap shot on a Rorters' player really a cheap shot? The ONLY good things about the Rorters' win was that Brisbane lost? Pangai is typical of many NRL players and this type of play will really hurt or cripple someone.

The other thing that looked bad was latrell taking isaako off the ball for tupou's try, he never even looked at the ball, and refs never looked at the play. Let it flow!!!...
TPJ should've been binned for a pro foul...

No idea what player it was, wouldn't be surprised if it's the one Easts are trying to bid big on as a marquee signing.

The good thing with both Broncos & Titans having a horrendous start to the season opens to possibility of either some Mid Season trades or contracted players told to move on....
Surely we should be able to pick up 1 or 2 decent (mid priced) players from them?
