+xKiraz vs Avo at fullback. it’s a tough one. But it depends the style of play. If we need a playmaker at fullback Avo is the better pick. If we need a runner Kiraz. But Avo also has a good running game so would be my pick.
The bigger issues are our forwards. Pangai has slimmed down and could move to an edge. But that leaves us short a middle. And our only class middles are Thompson and King. We desperately need size. We haven't seen Kiraz at fullback in the NRL. I always reserve judgement until I see how a fullback cleans up grubber kicks. Pangai might start a lock, with Kicks and RFM in the 2nd row, we also have Sutton. Also Patolo, Pele and Hughes at prop. Pele is a monster, a real unit who could do a lot of damage if fit. For the 2nd Row Preston has impressed, we also have Topine. Topine might get a start to lift the defensive work rate. Some question marks, but overall the best squad we have had for 5-6 seasons.

I know I'm struggling to get excited and have tuned out of the games I started to watch. Take your pick… Way way too much meaningless T20 crap all year round… Few actual stars… Pre school holidays don’t help as you suggest… $&$ are tight for the many cos of Putin… The imminent climate catastrophe has people locking themselves down… All out for 15 ain’t gonna help the Thunders crowds… 15!!!…

I'm a fan of both players. I feel for Avo coz he had a great first season at 5/8th but got pushed out of the position coz of Burton. He doesn't do enough to be halfback and then gets moved to centre and fullback where he finds some good form.
He could end up like Mbye where he gets moved around but never locks in a position even though that position might in fact be 5/8th.
The clubs failure to fix the halfback problem is starting to have a detrimental effect on other players and positions

Him and his manager would… Not saying that is the case though… TBH as much of a fan of the Armadillo as I am, I’d like to see JK at the back… big body… pacer… awkward to tackle… and I think he’ll put his body on the line in D… The ball playing the big Q I guess…
