Ingliss to become an immortal... I think not, and that's nothing against him personally either. I believe that the immortal title should only be awarded to players that have exceeded greatness on the field, those that when they played they actually made a positive impact on the outcome of the game or through their skill have altered the game. There are only a few that have been able to do that and I am not impressed that they want to bestow that title on every player that was "good". They need to be greater than great. But that us just my observation.

Izzy announced he's going to challenge the breach. Maybe he has a good case but it depends if there's any fine print in the Union contract he signed that says he's prohibited from using vowels on Twitter or anything along those lines. As for Todd chiming in, Izzy has no contract with the NRL, so I doubt Todd would have a leg to stand on in court. It's all ridiculous to me because there's a 24/7 religious TV channel where it's the same book quotes non stop & anyone not interested can change channels or switch off the TV. It's the same as anyone who doesn't want to read some religious guys Tweets, they can simply not click on it. You know what you're going to get if you do... I've got no idea what the Oxford St crowds reaction would be, but most would probably laugh it off & ignore it saying churchies are churchies. It seems it's more a case of Raeline & Todd blowing it out of proportion which the media has then taken out of context to portray as anti-gay, so all the equality mob are marching up & down over it & on goes the unbelievable chain reaction. None of the other groups on his list have shown the slightest care in the world over what he said...

I watched that story unfold tonight. I saw it on 2 different TV stations. Channel 9 went straight for the "homophobic remark" angle & pushed it that way. The ABC didn't go there, they just presented what was happening, that he was challenging the breach & he requests the opportunity to present his side of the argument. But just moments ago, the ABC had Peter Fitz' on & he was strictly arguing the "homophobic remark" angle. The 2 news presenters pointed out that there were other types on the Izzy list, but Fitzy dismissed that by saying all those do it by choice & gays don't because they're born that way. His other arguments ranged from 14 yr old kids struggling with their sexuality & hearing there's something wrong with them, to Izzy being paid a lot so he shouldn't be able to express his views even if they're religion based. So now, as the chain reaction continues, as a result of Fitzy, all 14 yr olds struggling with booze problems are questioning themselves as not being normal, 14 yr old kids that have been doing scripture all their school years are questioning themselves as not being normal & so on. So if Izzy had an affair with a team mates wife it's because it's his choice & his feelings don't matter, but if he went back for the team mate himself as well it's not his choice because he was born that way. In a further twist, some fool of a footballer in England clicked like on the Izzy post & is now getting booed on the field & facing the sack. When will it end....

+xA couple of afl players and a British union players embroiled in a similar 'like' scandal... British union has gone down a similar path to Rae and TTT, the afl has refused to make comment... From what I saw on the BBC, they're full on pushing it as an "anti-gay" post in the headlines, so it's not surprising there's a bullying pack mentality from crowds over there (that have been told how to think by agenda driven media). The equality thing has it's place & it's important these days, but there really is a time & place for it. There's no point them carrying on outside a door they've found which reads "mens" & marching about with signs & banners that read "what about women!", "What about hermaphrodites!", "Sack the door!" & so on. It ends up being ridiculous & inappropriate due to the context. With the Izzy thing, if he'd said he refused to take the field if there was a gay in his team or if he called one in another team some offensive insult, I could understand if there was a fuss made over it. Regardless, his religion isn't going to change for anyone though & people faithful to it will quote their house rules whether people like it or not. I'm not sure if it's even arguable whether that's fairly being described as homophobic or them just being faithful without intentionally being offensive. Anyway, I don't go to his church & nobody else has to either. In another incident, Hawthorn are investigating a racism incident which involved a Hawthorn fan throwing a banana at a black opposition player. Fortunately for you Marki, it was a woman, so you're off the hook...

Political correctness is embraced by just about every media organisation around except possibly those seedy types who hand out newspapers near St James station. Why didn't they ask Fred Nile for a comment? I saw Raelene Castle on the news and to be honest I nearly spewed. To think that woman was in charge of our great club. That ludicrous Kiwi accent is offensive...hell I can't say that. The whole New Zealand thing after the mosque attack was so politically motivated it was sickening. Yet the NZ PM is a hero (or is it still okay to use the feminine form?). And whilst nothing to do with it ...the women don't mind going up on stage at the Oscars to accept their best "ACTRESS": awards

The vegans for example being upset on behalf of animals just shows how ridiculous things have become... Asserting that sayings such as 'bring home the bacon', and 'to flog a dead horse' are offensive to animals is beyond ridiculous...
My neighbours dog sniffs butt, humps ladies legs, and barks at black people... Yet the vegans wouldn't call it a perverted, racist, sex fiend...
Problem is what's good for the goose isn't good for the gander....
Oops.. I see them coming up the street with lit mobile torches now...
