+x+x+xI can't disagree with you Zef, the mood the Dogs were in those last 3-4 weeks, Cronulla had to take us seriously if they wanted a springboard into the finals. Kudos to them they did just that, and now must be viewed as genuine contender. flatPMflPMflatPMflPMflatPMflatPMflPMflatPMflPMfPMflatPMflPMflatPMflPMflatPMflatPMflPMflatP Count me in. I would love to see the Sharks beat the Roosters and I think they will. I would not like to see them win the comp, but Sharks or Souths are what my head is saying. Heart is saying Warriors of if not Panthers, but the Warriors and Panthers can't afford a bad day and both teams are prone to having them. I think the way the Sharks beat us is why I am impressed, we played well but they beat us and seemed to have plenty in reserve. They are masters of the wrestle, niggle and winning ugly at the same time if Holmes fires he is very hard to stop, so they can win just about any way you care to name. Moylan is a confidence player, if I wanted to beat the Sharks I would make sure he had a bad start to the game. All I can think of there is tackle him hard, and make him tackle. In flat ascending order what best for game and therefore me as a footy nut is - Warriors Penrith Melbourne (the b2b thing has me sucked in) Rabbits St.merge Donkeys Cheats with fins Cheats with feathers.. Has the pervert with the camera/drone been charged yet?... I'm starting to think the guy with the telephoto lens was none other than Des. Think about it..... We sacked him, his reputation as coach is shot, Pay outdone him in his first year, the club is in a better place since.....and so on. He wanted revenge, so he set out to get it.

Buzz and DT sent 3 photographers to climb trees to stake out the Bulldogs, 1 to Manly's Mad Monday and none to the other 6 teams...is that the part you mean Nancy.

+xPicked up where we left off lol... A very balanced and well researched article. A must read. I hope Lyn Anderson and Andrew Hill go after the DT abd in particular the 3 pervert photographers. Here's the link: https://www.bignewsnetwork.com/news/257958921/team-of-photographers-deployed-by-telegraph-to-ambush-dogs

So in effect what we hypothesised on the BDP as the facts actually were almost spot on. I hope the club has no intention of paying the fine. Furthermore shouldn't the Player's Association step in and demand an unreserved apology from Greenberg from impugning the reputation of the club and the players. AND if not forthcoming say "there will not be a grand final",,,stick up for your fellows.
And isn't it required now that when a building is fenced off such as the one from where the photographers took the pictures that signage indicates that entering these premises is an act of trespass? In just doing that the photographers committed an offence.

The Rorters winning was brought on solely by Cooper Cronk. His was an extraordinary performance for these crooks. Sharks might have won had Luke Lewis been able to put the ball down but by some fluke Latrell Mitchell's knee got in the way at the moment he went to plant the ball. Mitchell is being wrongly lauded for a great tackle...well if you call a flukey result great it maybe was but I don't think so.

The lesson for us is there is great value in having a calm head, with a good kicking game, in these big games. The one bad game changing call was with Friend knocked on after a great defensive play from Townsend, and the Roosters scored soon after. But the Sharks also bombed 2 certain tries, and some of their defensive reads were bad. What is funny is Townsend had a great game, he is very unlucky to have been incorrect pinged, in the game changing play. I still think the Broncos/Panthers/Rabbits/Sharks are a chance to win the comp. The challenge for the coach is managing the squad through the next 2 games ensuring the payers have something left in the tank for the GF Qualifier and the GF. That why everyone wants to win in week 1. The Storm and Roosters both deserved to win, but had a bit of luck. The Roosters will be lucky to not get pinged for 2 crushers tackles.

Mitchell on Dugan for sure but isn't he the Golden Boy at the moment so sure to escape punishment.

As expected on players side, spoke about media responsibilities and long lens and damage to Elliot and co, mebtiinec his charity and themedia never prints the good stuff, said fine to club reasonable considering $125k Pearce fine, expects it to be the end of mad mondays... Panel agreed on most points... Stunning day, might spend it on my balcony with nothing but Neil diamond...

Whether the Rorters deserved to win or not is debatable. Two of their tries were off the back of extremely poor referees decisions but as they missed both conversions they were only worth eight points and since the chooks won by 9 one can't say the sharks were robbed, probably a tad unlucky though. The game was set up in the first half with a motza of freelance whistle blowing favouring the rorters but the sharks did have chances in the second half to take that game and couldn't capitalise. Let's hope st merge can knock the Groncos out this afternoon.
