+x+x+x+x+x+x+xSo glad Matt Frawley won’t be in a Dogs jersey next year..... His kicking game is horrendous in this game tonightHis attacking plays just as fekked Never seen a half kill momentum with the wrong options and so poorly executed ever...its uncanny. Excellent win only close because of Captain Dud. How is someone so woeful made captain? So sorry for Fine who was having a very good game. A terrible injury on top of a terrible week. I am not saying Cleeland is a world beater but I never understood why Des went with Frawley and Garvey ahead of him, Same reason he chose Lichaa over Cook I guess! Stick to netball...Cook's rise to prominence is essentially under Anthony Siebold and he took off this year. I hope he wins the Dally M and I for one would be very pleased for him I dont agree. Cook is enigmatic. He does go missing if his forwards arent providing momentum and quick play the balls, but he showed even with us that he can spot an opportunity and take advantage of it. The biggest difference with him at Souths is that Seibold fixed the team issues in line speed, forwards hitting advantage line, and quick play the balls. Seibold hasn't improved Cook. He improved the team structure and Cook blossomed. If Des was even one quarter the coach that Seibold is, he would have spotted this. But he wasnt. Cook is a bit like Kenny Rogers...he knows when to hold them, knows when to fold them and knows when to go like a fekking jackrabbit...all coached by Siebold.

Go fund me page set up in solidarity. All funds toward men's health... https://www.gofundme.com/throw-the-dogs-a-boneNot exactly apples and apples but I think what Tomic the Tank engine and kyrgios do every second week, and Serena did over the weekend is way more damaging to 'that game' than what what yeah the boys did to 'our game'...

Here's the Panthers antics, on the eve of the finals, at a football ground, promoted by their club and fox on twitter. #doublestandards... #silenceisdeafeningNRL... https://mobile.twitter.com/PenrithPanthers/status/1036044480456011776Once upon a time I admired Todd Greenberg, that admiration has diminished considerably since he took the top job.

Will also say the crowd at the tennis should be absolutely disgusted with themselves... Booing a champion... I hope Serena never wins amother major... The on court antics were deplorable, the press conference and claiming to stand up for equal rights an absolute farce.

We all know it is a stitch up. If it were anyone but the Dogs nothing would have ever been said. If the mighty Canterbury-Bankstown were not part of the NRL, I would have said that they could stick their game up their ar$e. Too many darlings and sweetheart clubs, too much money, there are forces in this game that are like a cancer, eating away at the fabric of the game and probably too entrenched to ever get a competition free of inconsistancies.

Oh yes Lichaa does similar plays every game for us. For sure we got the better player ...sucked in Rabbits. The guy showed what he had when he played for us and Seibold had nothing to do with him in 2015. What it proves is that Hasler was a peanut in choosing Frawley as half and Lichaa over Cook as hooker. https://www.bulldogs.com.au/news/2015/10/01/damien-cook-season-highlights/

Reveals over 58% of respondents believe media coverage of NRL is mostly negative or worse... Problem is they're likely the same people who buy the paper cos NRL is on front page...

Geez. I find it surprising. Dony get me wrong....remember it was I who said releasing Cook will be our biggest mistake since Thurston, but even I think its abit over the top and I dont quite think Cook eclipses Smith. They are of course different players. Smith is a guy you want in the trenches with you. Cook is the guy you look to when something out of the ordinary is needed. I would have picked Latrell Mitchell as best player.

There is no denying that Cook is the elite hooker in the comp. But that is now something in the past. Some whinged and moaned after every loss and still present a negative aura. Do they have any air of positivism...I think they are happier constantly searching for the negative.

The real surprise in that poll is that 39 % said grand final pre match entertainment was very important against 41% not...whilst firmly in the 41% group I thought it would be 10-% or lesswho thought it important...I find it annoying...half time at the Superbowl it is certainly not.

Dan...both those players are still with the club whereas Cook left 3 years ago...totally different. I have had no recent issues with either Villi or Tony, though some of Tony's posts do invite comment. You live in a world of self pity on here. Even close unlucky losses which were more than any other team were met with a kind of derision whilst most and I include myself were despondent but could see close losses becoming close wins and wins becoming more frequent. You were king of the wrist slashers and I am sure Leonard Cohen's "Dress Rehearsal Rag" must be your favourite song. Whilst I am disappointed with the season I am not disappointed with the effort and the coaching.I feel sure the rewards will come. We have unearthed two possible stars in Reimis Smith and Lachlan Lewis as well as having a goal kicker in Rhyse Martin whose initial stats are unbelievable. So no I do not want to hear about a player who left 3 years ago. BTW he does deserve the DallyM and if he gets it I am sure the first person he will thank is Anthony Siebold "I would not be here tonight without Anthony Siebold"...I can hear it now.
