I was hoping there'd be some room in the club somewhere for Georgalis (Reggies coach would suit) but stiff sh.t.

Tom's got every right to appoint his own staff, and it would work better if he's got the blokes he wants and not the ones he's lumbered with. And to be frank, you'd have to say most if not all are part of the problem we've had for too many years anyway. Fresh approach, fresh staff, new faces, new ideas.

And I do like the fact that Tom's been decisive and ruthless about this. It's a good sign he's not trying to feel his way in without stepping on toes.

I do hope he brings Cartwright with him. The sort of experienced assistant that knows his place that we and Tom needs.

My personal opinion is that unless TB has a team of replacements that he wants to bring in and ready to join him in November, he should maybe give some of these guys an opportunity to work with him first before putting a broom through them. 

He is after all on a 3 year coaching gig is he not? 
He could do a full preseason and half a regular season before he determines if they are a good fit or he can get better replacement.

On the other hand, he may feel half our problems are the coaching staff and less about personnel.

Or....perhaps he is striking while the iron is hot and he can get his preferred replacements now, but might lose them if he doesn't act swiftly.

I'll put my trust in him for now and see how they go. 

I only need to see how we play in trials and a couple of regular season games before I can tell what kind of season to expect

This is a very disrupted season with lots of coaching turnover as a result a lot of players are moving club.

We need to sign some good players, more chance that some quality will be on the market.

Makes me wonder how some coaches flying high this season will go next year, one bad season is all it takes at many clubs.

I recon we were more than patient with Deano and Tom will get a fair run. Tom is in the fortunate position that the last 5 seasons are best forgotten. Any hint of promise and good attacking footy dogs fans will be overjoyed.

I sure hope 2006-2020 is a one off, supporting the club most of this time wasn't enjoyable, 1973-2005 was good.
So 32 good years followed by 15 bad, glad I didn't start following the club in 2006.

If we want him to be accountable he must be supported in doing it his way.
