+x+xStill a winnable game, we need to win it with our defence. #GoDogs Unfortunately the NRL will instruct the Refs to get Souths back into the match anyway possible .. He will be cautioned for sending the Souths player into the sin bin... We don’t need the refs intervention for us to capitulate in the second 40... We’ve done it nearly all year...

+x+xSix again six again, penalty, and give a try without going upstairs and its a no try. I've always said EVERY single try should be checked by video. But traditionalists want less intervention with more horrendous errors like that. Broncos and Dogs games would have more time spent on reviews than playing with the amount of tries against them/us... And then they’d fvck 20% of them up anyway...

Hand went into JMK = instant penalty. The problem is not on video rer getting 50-50calls wrong. It's on the rules not allowing glaring errors to be corrected by a video review that happens anyway. They reviewed Hoppa vs winger on the touch one-goal 7 tackle set so why not intervene on such a glaring error that results in points of all things?

The most annoying thing is people will say the no-try was a square up. Personally I think it was a penalty but even if it wasn't they wouldn't have had all that momentum if the first try was correctly disallowed.
League is a game of momentum. You shouldn't have to overcome horrible decisions like that to win a game.

+xStill a winnable game, we need to win it with our defence. #GoDogs Groundhog Day.... Dogs look like top 8 contenders to start the game.... then something goes against us.... then we crumble & lose Up 20-0.... we lose this, it’ll be a new low for the club.
They’ve got to win it.... at least for their bloody captain!!
JO defensively is useless, but he’s 100% better than the useless crap Montoya & Holland. British Dog has been good.

+x+x+xStill a winnable game, we need to win it with our defence. #GoDogs We've lost the "kicking out of danger" from Lewis. Last time we had a similar situation (I think Raiders game) and Foran and other half couldbt get us out of trouble. We are making better metres running the ball out but the loss of Lewis' kicking game is huge. I really think we need to get to 32 points and then hope we defend well. Hope they can do it for Jackson in his 200th. Wakeham and Averillo don't have lomg kicks, they do have more footy. Wakeham is either extremely badly positioned for 5th tackle kick or Souths are reading him receiving the ball too well. He is only just getting boot to ball.

The 50/50 calls are the way ones for them cos they get to stick with the onfield decision... The Souths bloke changed direction with the ball, it wasn’t a push in the back...

It’s called poor coaching Marki.... anyone with half a brain should have trained this kid to be positioned deeper or whatever when he gets his kick away.... I’m expecting more shanks by him before full time unfortunately & the usual Benny Hill blooper that’ll probably lead to a Souths try

I personally saw it the way you did, but any hand in the back is a penalty when the defensive player misses the ball like that and falls. We copped 1 or 2 earlier in season. My fear here is we are likely to let a 20 point lead slip. I really hope we can score first in second half otherwise we are finished.

I’ll show ya if you like... ;) I didn’t think it at the time but Kam did mention a square up... I just thought yep... the bunkers still shit...
Vlan the Man still got his work cut out for him getting the refs off the public’s radar when they have as little feel for the game or understanding of rugby league nuance as they do...

The Hoppa high shot that saved a try plus the 2 try savers by Jacko and the ensuing 2 tremendous acts of leniency from the ref to not sim bin Jacko were telling!

One with his foot, the other the rake out
