This is disturbing.
We have had a habit over the years of keeping players too long and allowing them to leave or retire "on their terms" in the meantime we lose the few good talented players waiting to replace them.

Loyalty in rugby league died in the 00's. 

I dont know why Doorey wasnt immediately promoted to top 30 after he impressed in his free games already. This club it seems has learnt nothing.

With 3 slots to fill, I am hoping for Burton, a hooker and a prop or centre.

Get all 3, we go close to making the 8.

Compromise with 2nd best, because we can't get the players we want 9-12.

Of course it is early, but these last 3 signings are all important.

They've seen him in first grade so he's obviously not highly rated by those that count. If he gets a reasonable offer would be silly not to take it.

He looked good, perhaps we are still negoitating a longer term deal, maybe we want to  see more.

Nothing is certain about Doorey, Stimson and Britt were not recruited by Baz.

Britt is a Pay signing, needs to improve, but not currently  a lost cause.

I hope that it is true, we are more likely than the Tigers, who are no chance.

Pleasing news even if just a rumour....

Theres certainly a reason for it.
We avoided it in '20 only by beating Souths in second last week and coz Broncos were poorer. 

Next year Broncos will not be anywhere near as bad while we lost Foran who was our marquee and one of our best players. 

Going by the above, the terror crap is correct. 

Having said that, just as one or two teams surprise each year to make a good fist of it at the top, at least 1 or 2 nosedive at the other end.

I believe we will improve on '20 but it comes down to whether we improve at a better rate than the rest. I feel the Tigers will struggle big time and may end up with spoon -especially with no Grant, no Benji, no JAC and no Aloai

More good news for us, Stephen Crichton has a new manager and wants more money from the Panthers for 22 onward.

We can even put in a bid, and all we probably will achieve is, help to force his price up.

Letting go of Burton on year early might help the Panthers secure Crichton, if they don't make the tough decisions, he may take the highest offer available. Panthers want to keep them all, but may soon need to face reality 

Tigers seem to be rapidly turning into a rabble, the squad doesn't seem to fit the coaching style and their recruitment and retention looks like a shambles.

Well one thing I can dismiss is the lookalike option, unless said lookalike has exactly the same neck tattoo.
