Terrible choke by the sharks with the match going down to the wire. It's bad enough they shot themselves in the foot & gave away a try whilst in possession, but to complete the Benny Hill multi & do it again moments later....

Canberra should have been on top the whole game. Only got behind because the Sharks got some good calls and lucky bounces. Surprised the raiders didn’t hit 50

What a performance by the Hawks against top table Demons! Ended up a draw but they gave it a real shake, stole the lead in last quarter, lost it again and came home strongly. Another minute and they couldn't have found a win

Surprised the raiders didn’t hit 50 That's fair enough but how the sharks got to a 2 point lead towards the end is a different story though. I meant when it was getting close to next try wins it, sharks shot themselves in the foot twice within minutes & gifted the raiders with 2 tries while in possession.

The Sharks certainly didn’t do themselves any favours. But I never felt that they were a chance. The Canberra forwards were making shitllads of meters and offloading the ball to easily.
If Tapine is being let go by the Raiders he sure would fit into the Bulldogs easily.

If Tapine is being let go by the Raiders he sure would fit into the Bulldogs easily. I tell you what... I only saw glimpses of the game but watching the highlights this morning it's a real shame we let go of CHN. Every Raiders game I watch, I see him offloading in tackles at will and providing that X-factor we desperately lack - particularly on the fringes. HD made a comment the other day that we dont have a Pritchard type player. Well.... he was it. Not sure who is off contract in the next year or so but i can only think of Kikau (Panthers), Matterson (Eels), Olakauatu (Manly), Fifita (Titans) that fit the bill. Maybe Gus' appointment can influence Kikau...

CHN dogged us, so I don't care how good he becomes. It's a no from me.

+xGreat to see the big guy back. I hope he carves up Same. Been eagerly waiting for him back in the team. It's the presence of his big stature on the wing which will make defence just hesitate that but more than otherwise. I'm hoping the team lifts following the appointment of Gus and looks to make an impression.

What a difference he has made to our forward advancement! Coupled with Souths errors, we have evened the contest. Let's hope we can keep going.
