+x+x+x+x+xHere are some incidents that balance the argument...… 1) Dutchy supposedly didn't get a finger on the ball when Oates battered the ball back from the short drop out, leading directly to Jackson try 2) Sims elbow supposedly makes contact with ground on his 3rd try just before halftime - overturned as a double movement 3) Reimis Smith supposedly didn't make contact with the ball from the kick off 4) Same play as above but ball touched side line instead of bouncing just inside? Marki, every time you look for something to take the gloss off don't you. Anyway, expected. But.... All those calls may have been considered lucky but I'd say everyone of them correct. #1 yeah...maybe... but inconclusive and with the refs call on field, correct of the video to award it. But why do you mention them without a word on our tough calls. Why couldn't Morris take the quick tap and score when Boyd took one exactly the same (except for field position) and was allowed to play on late game? The forward pass to Martin..... what forward pass? You know, it's all right to not begrudge us a win. Take it, we smashed them, we deserved it. Luck had nothing to do with it. Re-read my post Zef. I was merely putting up an arguement for balancing of the calls in the game. We won some and lost some. The ones we won led directly to points. The ones we lost weren't really point related even though they got them wrong. Maybe JMoz would have scored 1 on 1 with only Jet in front of him. But I have seen many of those called back when very close to the 10m line. I am in no way downplaying the win. I'm very happy about it. But it gets silly on here when people just focus on the calls that dudded us yet turn a blind eye on th he calls that went in our favour Why is that silly..it is called being normal. Worst call of the entire season was the knock on by Isaaka in the first game against Brisbane. You are reading possibilities into your 50/50 calls...actualities a little different. The only call for mine that was lucky was the kick out on the full call. If we got an equal share of calls week in week out we probably wouldn't even be talking about it but then you contrast it with a team such as the Rorters If the ability to rate the 10 worst decisions of the year...and I have indicated number 1..at least 7 would be in favour of the Rorters and Brisbane. What is normal is that no rugby league game goes without ref mistakes. Part and parcel of the game. Everyone knows that. What you dont want is to cop a howler that leads to points and in particular when the game is in the balance or near the end. We won the key calls. Yes the refs made errors, but we had the game in the bag. Save the ref abuse for a close game. We lost two games due refereeing errors....1st against Brisbane and the game against Canberra at Belmore. We did not get an undue advantage against Brisbane...we were penalised when McGuire pulled Elliott's hair. Here's one for you to practise Marki https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFNJIE7X37g

Another 1 point loss to the dragons. Carr stepped into touch which would have been a terrific try in the 1st half. Wakeham went okay for his 1st game.

It was a good no-try to Tom Carr, with the break from Cleeland having some strong fends to get through (reminded me of Luke Cleary). At least 'Fine' got one allowed, albeit nothing fancy from close range.

Will Okunbor realise his apparent potential?

Pencil in 26th August.
It's Ending The Season of The Dragons Day.... AGAIN! By the time the chokers get to us, they'll just need a fork stuck in them.
And wouldn't it make the season all worthwhile if for nothing else... AGAIN!

They've struggled coming out of origin but will click into gear again soon, one thinks. Top 4 would surely still be their goal. They have Graham so wont be winning a premiership anytime soon....

When the father of the victim started staking out her shop, she took an AVO against him - and guess who Hadley attacked. Even attacked those who supported her, called "vile" on air. And do remember - she didn't rape anyone. Said the NSW Attorney General was giving free legal advice to a paedophile, which he wasn't. The grub himself said yesterday he's living in a very small glass house and so he won't be able to throw stones - for a while. For a while? In other words, when this blows over I'll go back to attacking family members for something a single family member did that had nothing to do with them, but while it's about me.... please respect my privacy. Well yeah, I do, because I'm not a grub like him. But f***ed if I'll listen to anyone lecturing me or anyone else about morals concerning Hadley.

Do consider Tony, Hadley attacks the wife of a rapist for supporting her husband.
Hadley supports his corrupt Police Officer drug taking son.
You don't see the contradiction there?
Sure I'm all for respecting the family wished for privacy in the "difficult situations".
Is Hadley?

Perhaps Tony may have not been around these pages when the Coffs Harbour rape allegations were made. Hadley was perhaps the first to get the story on air. I remember it vividly as I was driving a family member to the airport. Now normally when reports of matters are under police investigation reports are preceded by the word "alleged" and clarifications are made that investigations are ongoing. Hadley's report was not in that form and anyone who was listening would have construed what he was talking about to be fact. Details were graphic and condemnation was swift and to the hilt. Only one thing....IT WAS NOT TRUE. Yes it was culturally wrong and yes it even appalled some but NO CRIME WAS COMMITTED. The garbage grew exponentially from Hadley's "report". Now the boot is on the other foot only it seems the incident may be true. Never let truth get in the way of a good slander seems to be Hadley's adage. I don't believe Nancy would wish ill will to Hadley's son but Hadley? The ultimate pot calling the kettle black case....Hadley is the pot

In other news... After the Crows and Swans did their job yesterday, Hawks wake up this morning still in 3rd spot. Will drop back to 5th though unless some bigger upsets come through if Giants and Demons lose.
Unfortunately, QPR couldnt keep this fine weekend going, losing their opening English Championship game this morning....

BUT it is a case of Hadley asking for something (privacy) that he didn't afford anyone else in difficult circumstances that makes him at best a hypocrite and worthy of any personal disdain to him (not his son)

I have similar contempt for Lockyer after his smug and stupid remark at the time, a remark that should have seen him ineligible for immortal status...he was a good player but hardly immortal. And funny he seems to be the only one to have heard the Canterbury trainer make his so called remark on Thursday.

Ray Hadley is a hypocritical self centred scumbag who would be responsible for more (possible/probable) suicides and bad psychological outcomes for innocent family members and peripheral people involunteerily involved around public issues that he jumps on his high horse about. He has a totally irresponsible gunho attitude with innocent people's emotions and lives. Our boys had families as well and there were far more involved that Hadley tarred and feathered than just Hadley's son (who actually has been charged with a heinous crime). Not to mention the costly tarnished image of our club that continues to this day. Remember all that Tony. https://m.coffscoastadvocate.com.au/news/apn-football-scandal/8437/My neice worked in Hadley's office for a time and she says he is a hated bully at the radio station...all of the above is good enough for me to judge him and fairly consider schedenfraude.

The best Hadley bully story was when there was a tech working in his studio on something and Hadley was getting triggered by it. During an ad break he had words to the bloke and finished by saying "Say another word and I'll put you through that wall."
Bad move on a black belt, who calmly responded "Well Ray, let's go."
Witnesses (and there were plenty) gleefully reported they've never seen a whiter shade of pale than what Hadley turned, nor ever heard him shut-up so quick and completely.
He didn't say another single word and the tech completed his work in peace.
