Someone started a thread about the decentric hate that exists on this forum and it got me thinking about the other characters on here and frankly no one tops Adthro for the pure verocity of shitstorms he used to create. Most of which weren't even his fault. 
He'd then lose his head over anything negative thrown his way and the whole thread would be thrown into chaos... hahaha ahhh shit im laughing just thinking about it!! Wish he never left

I used to have convos  with a former Mod, PV4, another poster, Eastern Glory, and Draups via PM. I know all three on a first name basis. All  three socialised together off forum.

Adrthro and Draups used to abuse each other on here.

I can confirm it was a multi (not mine) and I like many was fooled into thinking he was real.

Tbh i actually 100% agreed with the crux of what he was trying to point out and that is he was trying to combat the EuroSnob mentality and defeatist mentality of Australian football fans through statistical research... bit like you Decentric. Albeit he didn't convey he's points quite as articulatly lol

After reading his posts I studied up on ELO and saw the value in it as a comparative too. It's brilliant for sports betting as it points out what the odds for teams should be and thus what presents as good value bets on the market. I'd love to properly get into the betting side of it but too many comittments

I remember seeing the first one of them and thinking, "Yep, it all makes sense now."  He actually used to argue with himself to pump up the post numbers.

Amazing though to keep it up for so long and in so much depth with such bad english.

Sheer brilliance but bloody hell he must have had a fair bit of free time to do that as long as he did.  Sometimes the arguments would rage on for hours.

I remember Adthro went a bit crazy in OS Aussies a few times. In some ways Highkick does now. With much less ELO talk and better spelling thank goodness.

Before joining this forum I use to lurk around and read some of the threads and Ardtro's arguments with other people about the standard of the a league use to crack me up

I loved reading ardtho's posts.  Spelling and grammar were atrocious, but still funny.

I often wonder how many leave under one name but start up under another to get a fresh start ? Sometimes a newbie will sound suspiciously like "someone you used to know " :D

I miss adrtho’s input. He demonstrated, through his post’s a wide knowledge of many sports, and world politics. This forum would benefit greatly if member’s  commented on adrtho sporting knowledge, rather than attack his writing prowess.

Look I'm getting really pissed off with this shit.

One geriatric who lives in a retirement home,  who lives a miserable, boring life and who is as thick as pig shit in intuition, has constantly speculated I'm whoever, in response to me blocking him for years.

Another mental health challenged individual who used to quarrel with 90 percent of 442  members, who I stirred up with a couple flippant accounts posting satirical posts for bullying a kid about five years ago, and flippantly nicknamed  him with a nick name he didn't like (and stuck) also has fabricated story after story that I've been about 50 multis after I blocked him for  years.

I've been accused of being these bona fide posters such as - a financial analyst in Dubai, an accountant in Brisbane, one of the top professional football coaches in the country who was posting in FTBL, a Sydney cricket tragic, a Canberra resident and another guy with serious mental health issues who I was at the  point of banning when I was a Mod for a short time. Two of the aforementioned I've met off forum, and continue  to meet with them!

Whenever  a few the aforementioned multi  speculators and accusers  realise they are quite wrong in their multi accusations, they never retract their original accusations.

Contrary to what I thought, Mods don't  have access to IP numbers, so it is difficult to verify who is who on this forum.

And, some people get really pissed off being wrongfully accused - like I am now!

Most people participate on this forum to discuss football - nothing more.

 I interact socially with about 150  family and friends  in mutual social events ( drinking), gym attendance, political activism, pedagogical mentoring  and sports events.  In that number I think probably 2- 3 people would be interested in football. If any of the rest these people are interested in any sport, it is a sport I detest - AFL. It just dominates everyday life in Southern Australia. We can't get away form it.

The people I've met through football,  have usually been great, but our mutual   common interest is almost football exclusively.  Of the people I've met through football , few are interested in  football within Australia and our national teams. Most are  interested in local NPL - then European football.

Thankfully, there is an online community here where many people are interested in domestic football in Australia.

Many of the bona fide football fans who come here to discuss football, including the financial analyst in Dubai, Brisbane accountant, top NPL club TD, female English doctor , retired cricket tragic in Sydney, Canberra  football fan, a physicist living abroad, an erudite  Kiwi cricket fan, one manic depressive, other Tasmanians, plus many more IS members, react differently to the bored troublemakers  who constantly and wrongfully  accuse them of being me.

Some respond with abuse, others are offended and leave, whilst some are amused and play along.

 Adrthro, at least created some football discussion with all his ELO stuff.

Draups was a character who  I knew on a first name basis and was a good character to have  around. Did  he leave because he was sick of being wrongfully accused of being Adrthro? 

If there are constant threads set up about former  posters being missed, such as Adrthro and Draups, then this forum is failing to generate sufficient football discussion that keeps 95 % of posters interested in FTBL Forum - who are first and foremost interested in football -  not a vicarious social life for an inadequate social life they are having off forum in terms of face to face contact  with real people. 

FTBL needs more proactive posters posting about football - not cynics, debate terminators, trolls  and reactive posters who are ruining the forum.
