Injury aside, it's incredibly frustrating how little we've seen of Arzani. They obviously want to get the rehab right. He said in an interview he's been getting his body right. My greatest fear is he becomes another could have been.

Arzani needs to come back to the A-League and get some first team football under his belt. Coming back worked for Mooy and I feel it would work for Arzani too.

+xStupid article. Only 12 months, should pick up from here steadily. What is stupid is that Arzani has played matches in 2nd Celtic team and completed Olyroos training camp in Doha well. Can’t Lennon give him 5-10 minutes to get Arzani’s feet wet again?! As if Arzani isn’t good enough for SPL... pretty poor by Lennon

It's only 12 months after injury so i wouldn't be getting upset yet. But if it persists SPL isn't worth sitting on the bench for.

yeah, I want him to do well just like everyone else here, but really he's coming back from an ACL reconstruction, thats a big thing.
He's not in a team that has only 22 player to choose from and half of which are sub standard, he's in a club that has lots of good players striving for a spot, like everyone else he has to earn it.

The fact some people really don't get the recovery process for ACL's is baffling. Seriously sometimes it can take a half a year after recovering to get back into full fitness and rhythm ffs.
They are building him up in the reserves till he can actually regularly play 90 minutes.

Frustrating that he makes WCUP squads (and is impressive) but can’t make a Celtic squad for run of the mill SPL match...

I don't really need to say much as most of what I would have said has already been covered by others posting in this thread. For those who think I am anti-Arzani, I don't know how you would come to such an opinion, as I am not. My argument as always been the same, and that is... Once fully recovered from his ACL injury, he will have a battle on his hands for minutes, as there is plenty of depth for the positions he plays. He isn't in a battle against SPFL opposition, he is in a battle against his fellow Celtic players who play the same positions as he. If he is good enough he will get minutes. Is it really that hard to comprehend?? (rhetorical question)

Look Arzani will eventually get minutes but not what was probably going to happen under Rogers who made him earn his first call up!
The new manager is a pig and will be playing for his future as boss so I dare say Arzani will get limited time he just isn’t that type of manager to give youth a start!
but look he will play some minutes and then Man city will move him onto another club hopefully better suited to his development!
Under Rogers he would be playing a great style and learning.. he know has got a taste and understanding what it’s like at a big club his next move will be to stay and keep fighting for a spot or move to a club where he can play to his strength.
look I dare say Rogic will move on at the end of the year so that will free up space for Arzani to move up

Another chance tomorrow morning in the League cup quarter final against Hibs live on Bein at 4:30am. Its pretty clear the OP has no idea about Celtics squad either before Arzani arrived at Celtic or after.

I would love to hear who he feels should be dropped and the reasons why?? Another question could be where he rates each of the wingers in the teams depth chart, and why he rates said player where he does.
