People need to realize the deal between Flores and Melbourne was made months and months ago
they let Hernandez go easy after offering him less so they can offered Flores more
4 days into the transfer window he is signed.
they say Adelaide united offered us a verbal deal but was only verbal
yet the verbal deal they had with Melbourne was all good.

Isn't Barker-Daish meant to be a number 10? I can see him getting plenty of time as our playmaker as Dario is only at his best on the wings.

Who is going to play on the left of midfield if Ramsay is not there? Vidosic can, but I rather us go and sign a pacey left-footer just in case. 2 spots left. Where are our priorities? Personally, I'd rather they signed no one else and kept those positions free until January if there's nothing on offer. A solution to Ramsay being out (injury or suspension, not if he's bought by a club), Golec at LB and Cassio in LM. Not ideal but OK to fill a gap for a game or 2. Yes, that is the solution I was thinking but another left midfield type of player would be good. I think we all forgot about Teeboy  Obviously another option but he's very young. The more I think about it, we don't really need anyone. If we are to get another player, an AM that can make passes to play in Dario and Iain would enhance the team. Use the rest of the cap for one decent visa player. To be honest I was not sure if Teeboy could play there. Malik has played there before, but he probably will be important in the centre of the field.

Can see him having some rough patches through the season. As much as I dislike Arnie, what he did with Amini (giving them runs off the bench and resting them at times) is probably what is required for this kid. Really need an experienced player that can mentor him as well. I agree that Dario is far better on the wings. Give him room to use his dribbling skills and run at defenders and he can cause all sorts of havoc.

We've hardly conceded any goals, after all. :)

If Kossie sticks with the same 4-1-4-1 formation, then do you think he would put Fyfe in over Malik? I preferred the vision and passing range shown by Malik personally.

I would also go Malik over Fyfe, but when it comes to that game against MVFC with Flores I wouldn't get between the Beard and its prey!

Good question. Long range I'd stick with SVD, otherwise I wouldn't want to be the one making that decision. o:)

Adelaide United should do something similar to this awesome idea: http://www.whoateallthepies.tv/kits/131055/brazilian-side-vitoria-promote-blood-donation-with-ingenious-kit-campaign-video.htmlI think Melbourne Heart showed how much of a great idea it is to get fan input on kit design, and I definitely think AUFC should start doing the same, at least for the away kit.

 I'm looking forward to some of the tifo's the RA and RT come up with. They could potentially be really clever. My signature, even if some may not like it is a reminder that we should never take a players words too seriously. They will never be as emotionally involved as us fans. If any player ever spouts the crap that he did, I hope that fans will tell them to cut the bullshit

I am still waiting for some decent posts about the meeting between RA, RT & the club the other week?

JBD is gonna shine this season. I can see him and Bowles doing great things already. Hopefully it will be Teeboy's insanely early breakout season too. As for Melling... I feel like he's the next Barbiero... Read into that as you will.

From hearing from rt it wasn't an actual meeting but just an informal chitchat with representatives from both groups and with glenn Elliot and Matt Rossi Just thanking the groups for their work next year and plans on what they want to do this coming season. It wasn't a formal meeting
