Just sent Glenn a message via Red Out Loud asking about the FFA back down with MVFC and seeing if we could follow their lead.

Some photos from Bunyodkor's website. They're very very low key about us this time....

Dear Dimitri

The Parks Community Centre is under the control of Port Adelaide Enfield Council with the future of any development in their hands.

Government is conducting a stadia review of all venues under their control with Hindmarsh being one of those. We have been part of the process and await their findings which are due in April 2013. Our position is that Hindmarsh is the home of football in this State and we encourage Government to invest in our code along the lines to that which they have supported Aussie Rules and Cricket. It may well be that the fans have to be heard.

It would be great to have some upgrades for Hindmsrsh - IF we can win this ACL (it's a big IF) we can use that to strengthen our case...

Even though im excited for the league this season, i have a horrible feeling that with all these marquees and money in the eastern states we will be shunn into the shadows even more along with glory and phoenix.

Its hard enough as it is getting bozza fozzie and their crews to admit there are clubs not on the east coast , i hope this doesnt evolve into something much wose

Posting it again, in the hope we make it back there in 2014! :d

It was reported a few weeks ago on FootballNews that AU owners Bruno and Greg are in court against each other.

One poster suggested it was a private matter.

So I did some digging around and my source tells me it is NOT a private matter, but directly related to the ownership of Adelaide United. It is alleged that Greg Griffin is making decisions and/or assuming control of matters without consultation with Bruno Marveggio.

I’d like to know if anyone else has heard a similar thing, or anything at all.

Whether it is a business or football matter, this is bad news for the club.

Hmm, haven't heard anything - but then I try and avoid talking to Ryan about stuff to do with the club as I think it is unfair on him.

That sounds very disturbing.
Last thing this club needs is infighting and involvement of lawyers aa few days out from the start of the season.

Also I wonder if we'll ever get to see Carrusca play? According to the club website he's raring to go, yet by all accounts he's not going to Newcastle - a bit perplexing :-k ](*,)

Bruno does not have majority share

Yes they are fighting.

Bruno was greg griffins out and more ownership share so he can make decisions

And carrusca is fit and injury free and is travelling to newcastle. Wether he starts or comes off the bench is another story

A Victory loss! Great start to the season even before we play. :)

Wonderful crowd, great game and what an ad for the A-league. Pity Williams couldn't inflict more pain but.....:d

yeah this is a regular thing now isnt it ? i noticed the melbourne derby started half hour earlier then usual. So obviously they want all friday night games to start 7.30 pm eastern for best rating, will make it hard to make kick off for some.

Due to work Im lucky to get there at 7 as it is ....

They might want to start earlier cause of daylight saving but work doesn't finish earlier because of daylight saving for any fan

Good to see Fabio & Carrusca play. Carrusca's touch and professionalism that he's learnt from playing in tougher leagues has me salivating.

I've had the feeling we're going to shoe it in this season for some time.
Carrusca, super Dario, Fabio, Jeronimo & Caravella( when fit )making us look very good this year.
