It's the little things in life :lol: I got my 'out-of-town' membership (complete with over-sized lanyard) yesterday. Does anyone know if it's too late for me to give someone a proxy vote for the AGM?

The lanyard seems the same but the plastic sleeve holding the card seems way oversized, and looks tacky and cheap.

Im a little annoyed and concerned that being a Gold member is no longer the pinnacle of memberships, now being a financial member is the top dog....

It doesnt make sense to me at all, i been a gold member since season 2 and now they offer this membership for less money that gives people a voice (im concerned who "the people" are also) You just need to look at Facebook and see the idiotic comments people make to see what i mean. To be a financial member should require certain things i believe, for instance maybe 5 years of being a red/gold member for one.

Well, season ticket is in my wallet for the first time ever for tonight. That plastic holder is ridiculous. It's not a bad point either re having to be a member(read season ticket holder) for a certain amount of years before you are allowed voting rights. Sort the wheat from the chaff so to speak. Then again, I'm not sure how many people would bother with that option unless they were long time fans. I did it last year and didn't go to one meeting (barely got an email from them until I complained 3 times and my dad never did who i paid for membership for. Done it again this year...see what happens.

Tried to find some old ones but have moved house since last season...buckelys chance.

Given our situation, I think we can afford to let Van Dijk go, so long as we secure the other players on long-term deals.
