Watching some of this United Chelsea game. It's top notch stuff. Even back in 2011 at the world cup you could see there's something more methodical or tactical about the women's game. There's massive value to football as a whole here.

Thought Kerr was good last night, was involved in a lot of build up play and was very unselfish. Played LW most of the game and then when she switched into her more normal no.9 position she had close range shot well saved, hit the crossbar with a header and then scored her goal.

Yeah Logarzo and Mastrantonio had a pretty rough go of it. Their whole team was outclassed.

With injuries mounting and Joe not even selecttng attacking players from u21 to fill the bench (due to covid protocols) meant he had no plan to chase the game and so were deservedly beaten/
Guess the UK pundits were correct last week in saying that Arsenal hadnt recruited quality compared to Chelsea and Man City, just as well 3 teams qualify for europe next season as Arsenal are no where near top two and will struggle to finish 3rd in the league

Finally got to see mary Fowler for Montpellier she started off well with a good cross field passbut it was rather downhill after that giving the ball away in the oppo half with a weak sqaure pass that was interc epted counter attack and goal, after that she was through twice on goal, first time her feet got tangled and the second 'she didnt have pace or physicality,' according to commentry and lost the ball, she needs to keep the ball and work alot harder off tha ball, her fellow striker did twice the work off the ball.from this game hard to see as her as a run through striker or traditional 9 hold up striker, guess the next few years will tell as she develops

I watched this game last night. Both teams littered with world cup starters.

Fowler was largely anonymous but they don't seem to want to pass her the ball. Plenty of times she was available and the ball just wouldn't come to here.

Such a contrast from the game the other night vs CT where she was involved in everything.

I haven't watched enough Man City to know if that was normal service or just how it played out that game. 

By the by a perfect little stadium for that match. Why don't we have more of them like that here?
