Watching some of this United Chelsea game. It's top notch stuff. Even back in 2011 at the world cup you could see there's something more methodical or tactical about the women's game. There's massive value to football as a whole here.

Thought Kerr was good last night, was involved in a lot of build up play and was very unselfish. Played LW most of the game and then when she switched into her more normal no.9 position she had close range shot well saved, hit the crossbar with a header and then scored her goal.

Yeah Logarzo and Mastrantonio had a pretty rough go of it. Their whole team was outclassed.

Not sure why Arsenal started with 3 number 8's as the midfield couldnt hold onto the ball or pass, the frontline including Foord arent able to hold the ball up with their back to play and so the ball was permantly in arsenals half . With injuries mounting and Joe not even selecttng attacking players from u21 to fill the bench (due to covid protocols) meant he had no plan to chase the game and so were deservedly beaten/
Guess the UK pundits were correct last week in saying that Arsenal hadnt recruited quality compared to Chelsea and Man City, just as well 3 teams qualify for europe next season as Arsenal are no where near top two and will struggle to finish 3rd in the league

This league will expose Kerr I think. She is not that good, technically anyway.

the disparity between teams in the fa wsl is quite large.
i think facing the bottom half teams will help get her game back.

I reckon this experience will improve her game in time for major tournaments coming up

this week she can practice her throw ins, she got pulled up for foul throw

she needs to improve alot to make ballon d'or nominations this season
