+x Still think this is our strongest line up vs France Duke
Mabil Mooy Boyle (Kuol) Devlin Irvine Behich Sainsbury Degenek Deng Gosh, that is a terrible line up. Not even bad, it's terrible. Why is Deng at right back? What is Degenek doing there? Where is Souttar or Rowles? Where is our best player Hrustic? Where is our second best player Rogic? Why is Duke there? What in the actual fuck is going on?

Did U even watch every Socceroos games or well I have rewatched every previous full game replay and I talk about every damn games. I can edit and make a full highlight of your best player Hrustic got caught n lost possession. Also pass the ball straight to the opposition. By the time he looked up and think who to pass the ball to the other teams pressed him hard and he lost the ball time and time again. If he did that to France we will get murdered or eaten alive. Arnie did put Deng as RB in U23 Olympics qualification in Thailand and he did very well. He can defend much much better than Karacic or Atkinson (injured atm) and can also go forward and pretty solid with his passing. You will need his defensive ability against France. Rogic didn't get much game time and probably unfit. He didn't make a squad for West Brom so very risky to start him against France. Agree with Souttar and Rowles if fit and injury free should be there instead of Sainsbury and Degenek

Hrustic has ability but has gone missing in all our recent matches - flat track bully. Rogic is getting his fitness back so won't be starting anytime soon. Degenek and Sainsbury are playing at low level and were clearly crap against NZ. Behich is a bombscare. Deng is definitely an option at RB. But Rowles, Wright and Souttar have to be first choices for the CB positions - if fit. Irvine is looking too slow these days. We need energy, pace and ability to get in the faces of the French and Danes. I'd be going with: Ryan Deng Rowles Atkinson King Devlin McGree Boyle Mabil Kuol Cummings Maybe swap Deng for Atkinson and Wright for Deng. Mooy, Rogic et al to come on and shore up the wins... Garang-teed nine points from three games.

Think we might even see Arzani at teh WC if he keeps up his current form.

Im not sure how many years he lived here, but this will be important.

My god what is going with Aussies Abroad? We have a player in the Serie A and people prefer some hack in Scotland or benchwarmer in the championship? Also what is this fascination with Thomas Deng? He plays in J2 ffs. Weird..

The 5 year rule is for players who move here without being citizens previously.

Rowles' clock really ticking now. I don't think it's an exaggeration that if he starts and plays well on 3 games there'll be interest from a top 5 league.

90 for Davidson and Jeggo, 4-2 win
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

I thought he'd only get it at birth if his dad was a citizen at the time, but you can also get it if your parent is a permanent resident. Presumably his dad was a permanent resident, so yeah there's a good chance he has citizenship if his parents applied for it.

Rafael Rech (Rafinha) has started the last 4 games for Juventude in the Serie A, and came off the bench 2 times in previous matches. He seems to have been in almost every match day squad since the end of August. He plays as a winger. Obviously, still young, but this is quite impressive.

Early goal conceded by Copenhagen. Typical cup curse for the other keeper when getting a chance. Ffs.

So Metcalfe seems to be playing right wing back.
St Pauli have been very good and Metcalfe has looked good too. Some nice deep runs, and solid defensively.

I've not seen footage but my app suggested there. He seems to have covered his area tonight. Freiburg have equalised at the death so it'll be ET.
