On a somewhat related note I was at Düsseldorf Hannover today and what a treat it must have been for the AA who've played there. Cracking ground and city. Would like more AA in the league with the good infrastructure and culture.

Yep but hard to fathom that Hearts coach won’t use him as late sub in Spfl game but Kuol was good enough to get a shot on target against World Cup winners Argentina. FMD.

The thing about loaning out to develop a young player.  Unless he's an exceptional talent, what's in it for Hearts or the coach to play him? He's not their player, he's not proven, why would the coach play him over developing their own youth or playing an established Hearts player?

Just to add, this is why other youth players signing for big clubs only to be to be loaned out, unless its back to the A-League  They'll get loaned, the loan club may not play them.. I prefer the way Jordy Bos has done it.

Let's be honest here he was awful at Heart when given chances at the start.  Weak on shooting , almost got bullied physically in Scotland. But the weakest point is defensively he was very poor .  I was excited about him so I watched Hearts games in SPL. There were some good moments but no end product.

I can see the last Heart coach has been trying very hard to give him a chance after the world cup  (as soon as he landed he got 12 minutes as super sub). They played him as a winger, striker , AM he just didn't show any impact.

You look at Mitoma at Brighton , at first Potter played him as a super sub 5-10 minutes and he showed class and impact straight away.  As much as I want Kuol to do well I can understand why he sitting on the bench.

I agree to disagree. Kuol hit the crossbar in a game and provided perfect pass to Shankland I think? that should’ve become an assist. Was Kuol bullied off the ball by Argies at WCUP- don’t think so. His technical skills and his touch are superb and such a waste in Spfl. Bit like J Cummings sitting on bench at Dundee United before becoming the 2nd top AL goal scorer. Spfl outside Rangers and Celtic is mostly shit

He's got to work a lot harder on overall workload. Schwarzer and Sorensen reckon he needs to seek out from coaches on how he can push himself to another level overall. Plenty of time. Needs plenty do coaching and game time so I'd say a League 1 loan would be fine. 

Hearts didn't really have much incentive to play him, not to mention management changes and their own club goals, and when they did he was started at a 10 against Rangers which is ridiculous. It's been a good 6 month European first team experience of how the set up is.

I agree with Enzo. Build up, start that bit lower, don't go to a football farm that'll keep you in big reserve squads. Bos, Metcalfe have done it right. 

Yes that game he hits the cross bar and provided perfect pass that was some good moments and he did get his rewards & getting  more minutes after that. It was going downhill he got pressed hard and turnovers &  Heart kept losing then the coach got sacked. The new coach came in and refused to play Koul (on Heart Page he was totally forgotten ).  You won't get many chances when playing overseas. If you don't make an impact you'll be on the bench.

In Argentina game @ the world cup Koul hardly touched the ball, yes he got his chance to score at the end but You can't say he had a memorable game @ the world cup.  At least Arzani made an impact in world cup 2018 Koul didn't have any of that.
