But in terms of Miller I think Scotland was a good choice. His game style is very suited to British football and whilst I don't think he's skilled enough to make it to the top in England I think he'll end up having a very decent career either in Scotland or England. 

I think it's pretty safe to say Tommy might be done. May pop up somewhere in Asia but I think it will be a quiet exit from football from him when it happens. 

He will probably have a career similar to dougall. Good enough for league 1-lower championship but not quite international standard.

I think there is scope for Miller to fill a role at international level in a similar way to Irvine. Not our best player but a useful role player. Particularly as we are light on for options in the role.

It’s always healthy to have multiple options for any position, as that way you have the benefit of selecting the players currently in form.

At the moment it’s Strain and Atkinson making every squad, but good to have Miller there as a 3rd option if either of those two drop out of form, or pick up an injury.
