St Pauli draw Schalke at home in cup. Hopefully they'll advance. I'd like them to go far and it'd be good to see Irvine and Metcalfe against a first division opponent.

+xCircati bench. More worried about that one than the others Not at all, he played a full 90 minutes a few days ago and was resting today. Nearly the whole team was changed out. Think only 3 players weren't replaced from the game 3 days ago. Rest day.

Cumdog with 2 goals in the AFC Cup, to keep himself in contention for NT selection. Volpato unused sub, again. No Hrustic, again. Couple of years ago Hrustic would've been one of the first picked for any Socceroos squad, now he doesn't even get mentioned. He was good every time I watched him play for Frankfurt, then he fell out of favour there, after scoring a pen to win the Europa league for some reason. Now he's completely fallen of the face of the earth at Verona. Just wondering whether it's an attitude issue? He doesn't seem like he's a very "liked" teammate & hasn't always given off the best vibe for the national team either, regularly going off at teammates & spitting the dummy on occasions. At one point I would've said he was our best player. I hope he eventually sorts his shit out, because when he's fully fit & in form he's a great player for us.

He's been injured and still is but his attitude shits me. I think it was used for good to score against Japan and UAE but the post Argentina tantrum wasn't good. Still, he played a full 120 against Peru cohesively. Thankfully we're stacked but I think having him inverted on the right wing with McGree hovering and Goodwin and Boyle could bear fruit.

Our GK depth is so thin I'd consider keeping Langerak in the fold.

He has always been skilful on the ball, but his game sense is lacking. He doesn't fit in as well as other players as part of a team unit. Moreover, as Socceroo competition intensifies, his performances in Ball Possession Opposition are not as good as most of his teammates. However, he is one of the few players we have who can turn a game with a moment of brilliance.

+x+xI know his not Australian but good to see cacace start for empoli in seria a Unfortunately he hasn't started great and they are down 1-0 Unless I'm mistaken Lyndon Dykes is a pretty pure product of Australian football and it is ironic how highly touted he is in the English and Scottish game. Reading about him, I think I saw that Dykes wan unwanted by a few A L clubs in his formative years.

You LL be surprised how many times turnovers by him that the opposition almost scored against us. He was slow and thinks slow. He was God awful when came on @ the world cup. I hope we move on and don't see him again.

McGree starting. Glover, Silvera bench. Dougall starting against Derby who are without Elder who has a hernia. Bilokapic starting. No Watts. Luongo starting but no Burgess tonight. AMB in goal as the incumbent is injured after making the EFL team of the week to boot. Iredale, Robertson starting. Peupion bench. JRB still suspended.

Goals for Dougall and Iredale tonight. Ipswich cruising. Boro lead. Bilokapic still yet to concede and I imagine a call up beckons. If it's not against any rule for friendlies, why not bring AMB and Bilokapic into camp? Glover is a certainty.

Late drama with a deflection yet slow reaction by Bilokapic for Carlisle to draw 1:1. Portsmouth with an absolute last gasp winner to keep them 1st.

John crawley tells Arnold which keepers to pick no matter how much they do/don’t deserve it. Glover is a favourite of his - gigs for your mates is the aussie way in this case

really excited for the next few years... a midfield 3 of Robertson, O'Neill and McGree could be very good. Hopefully Aiden can get back into the starting 11.

Peupion will hopefully get more time. Cheltenham already resigned to going down.

Like when Luongo was at Swindon and was player of the tournament in 2015? Most of our League 1 players are fine for the Championship anyway. Portsmouth and Ipswich are top of their respective division playing healthy positive football that can challenge and beat many.

They topped league 1 last year and are top of the champion table this year Portsmouth are winning league 1 so they might actually be much stronger than league 1 level and robertson is a standout even for portsmouth. He is playing roughly as well as pre-acl arzani was in the a league imo and the a league is a reasonably similar level to league 1. So its a good enough standard to do well at international football

Not the nicest evening for our centre backs. Degenek bench against Young Boys. Souttar bench with Vestergaard suspended. Coady and Faes for the top clash against Preston. Triantis bench.

Ange was calling up League Two players tbf All that does is show how low our talent levels are. Ffs can you imagine England selecting from League 1?? Look at where ther players come from from. Does anyone think that Roberson, at his age, if he had serious ability, would have gone from Man City to to League 1?
