+xVolpato unused sub again. I wonder if Arnie spoke to him about the upcoming friendlies, or whether he just wasn't considered due to lack of minutes? Still think he can be massive for us in the future, with Robertson along side him. Things didn't go well as plan for Volpato. Playing under Mourinho he probably felt on top of the world . At one point he felt like a super star knowing the Socceroos would chase and beg him to play for Australia. Being betrayed by the Aus youth system he probably wanted to say " go fuck off stop chasing me Australia". He even sent a happy smiley face when the Socceroos lost to Japan & rejected the call to play @ the world cup. On his IG he often showed off his party surrounded by hot girls and high lifestyle in Italy. He wanted Australia football fans to feel sorry for losing him Now he moved to a smaller club in Serie A only to keep the bench warm now he probably feel so embarrassed to even accept & choose to play for Australia.

O'Neill last 8 mins. Genreau starting as a #10 by the look of it. As it's been said before, not sure why he wasn't picked for the friendlies.

Disclaimer that I know it'll jinx it, AZ lead Ajax 2:0 with Maty in goal. I've seen some headlines of Ajax being in crisis so perhaps it's not all too surprising.

I think it was your post the other day about rebalancing and I agreed. One thing, if McGree is in fact out, and his foot injury has been described as tricky, Kuol should come in. Genreau in would also be good. I just want Luongo to face England.

After all this time we have realised that Mcgree is a better player but playing a couple games for Roma has his market value all jacked up

I didnt really investigate the Volpato move, but has to be one of the worst by an aussie.
He's 3rd choice behind a 28 yo from Spain and a bloke from Empoli that the coach loves lol... he's fkd. Back in the a-league within 2 years.

He's a bloody good player, with a lot of potential, but he's so far down the pecking order for them and not even playing at club level. Dumbest decision knocking Arnie back to play at the world cup.

I've seen some dumb decisions by teenagers over the years due to the industry i work in but knocking back a WC squad spot is at the top of the list. What a dumbass.

Big game tomorrow morning for Ipswich against 2nd last Rotherham, to consolidate their position. Already a decent 8 point gap.

+xCirati and Segovic both good in wins this morning Great to see. Long way to go, but you'd love to see Parma promoted next season. Circati definitely looks like a Serie A quality player - one of the best Socceroo debuts I've seen for a while, albeit against New Zealand

Deng with plenty of minutes the past 13 games. Vast majority starts but benched 2 of the last 3. His club should avoid relegation. Muscat still in title hunt with a 4 point gap.

Iredale starting which goes against anything normal. He scored in the international break yet it's interesting he's been given a shot while the other 3 are on the bench today. They've acquitted themselves well also. Massive chance which has to be taken.
