As expected Alex Robertson is out for the season with a hamstring tear. 

Super rough going for him, he was having such a good first season at Pompey, and is unlikely to play for Portsmouth again. Can also most likely rule out an Olyroos call-up in April unless he get's recalled by City and has healed up. 

Gutted - for him & us. Hopefully it's not a drawn out recovery.

Thanks for posting this. Shows what we are missing at the Asian Cup. Mooy like technical ability, but faster. Probably not quite as good as Prime Mooy with his passing range yet, but he's only 20. No wonder he was touted as the best player in league 1 & why Everton are interested. Will be a very important player for us. 

Kuol bench. 

Kuol played 10 minutes today. Nobody needs a goal more than Kuol right now. He has to find ways to score because currently he has very low impact on the game.

One interesting thing about kuol is even in the a league he was really low for his position for touches per game

Awesome quality on the ball but weak off it. He needs to work better on finding pockets of space, losing his marker and providing a passing option. It is even harder to find space in the eredivisie compared to the a league,harder again in the epl. He has improved in defence a lot

I honestly don't think Irankunda has had a dip in form. Seems to be a similar player, I'd say his better at some things. His shooting definitely isn't as good last year but everything else is probably been better or the same. But Irankunda really turned a corner in 2024, his last few games have been impactful.

I've always said this about Kuol, he needs to put on a lot of muscle and strength. Until he does that he is going to struggle in any league let alone a top one. I can't see Kuol being a positive output player in Europe for at least another 3 years tbh. I think that's how raw he is so let's just hope in can keep making an impact here and there and improving so he can stay in Europe for now.

I think left midfield or left wing back. Left back is also ok but his best skills are in attack. Rowles has developed in a great way to cover the areas and I think we'll have a good time with Farrell in the future who might connect well with Bos.

Volpato with 20 mins against Juventus. Getting the feeling that the Sassuolo fans are 50/50 about him.

Having lurked on the Celtic and Tottenham's forums stalking Ange, its nuts how quickly the fans discard young players.Brennan Johnson is the current whipping boy at Tottenham- He's 22 played 15 games, has one goal and 4 assists as a winger despite being injured and playing ill, and yet they're 50-50 on him.

Yeah it's not warranted, but the odd negative comment is being posted after his last few games. The team will be in the mix for relegation this season, so the fans will be looking for scapegoats after any loss

They spent a decent chunk of change on him as an unproven talent though. As a fan I’d be skeptical 

Yeah but it cancels out because a few games before that he was getting positive comments and it was backed up by his rating. In the end, it's a reactionary response to a big loss against a big team like Juventus and using a substitute who didn't have an impact as the scapegoat. But it's not useful information for how a player is trending as you can see negative comments about every player alive especially all Australians playing overseas.
