Birraz joined Kilmarnock on a 7 day emergency loan. He was on the bench overnight for them. 

AA has been so quiet since the Asian Cup started. Doesn't help that Kuol, Triantis and others aren't really getting minutes. Circati and Nieuwenhof haven't gotten minutes in their last games as well and I think Mo Toure may be injured AGAIN, he hasn't been in any of the teams for a few match-days. Robertson also injured doesn't help. Been a rough month for the U23 AA especially. 

Yeah it's frustrating. Just picked up on FotMob that Genreau has a groin injury & is out until mid Feb. Hopefully with Circati it's just a rotation, as he's started most games this season. Parma 6 sit top of the league, 6 points ahead of second - if I was a betting man, I reckon there's going to be another Aussie in Serie A next season. Arnie needs to get him capped ASAP

Nieuwenhof started & scored. Jack Iredale started - Bolton look like moving back into the automatic promotion zone with a game in hand. Does Iredale come into the Socceroos at LB, especially with Bolton a big chance of playing in the Championship next season? Still only 27.

He could certainly make some squads as a back up. His versatility gets him more points. Behich has to go. Bos, Iredale but eventually Farrell too.

Al Hassan Toure started and played 67 minutes for Ajaccio in Ligue 2. I think that is his first game for Ajaccio since his transfer from Sanliurfspor (Turkey Second Division) earlier this month.

I don't think so. According to his profile on FotMob he was born in 2000 and I think the rule for 2024 Olympics is that the player must be born on or after 1 January 2001. I suppose he could be selected as an overage player but I don't know how likely that would be.

Wow! From being a benchy in the Turkish 2nd Div, to immediately starting in Ligue 2! 

Loved that goal by Nieuwenhof. De Bruyne esque. Would love to see him really start to cement himself in that position at his club. He get's the minutes but his performances have varied.

Volpato played a full 90 and scored a pen for Sassuolo in a friendly. Hoping he can get some good minutes against Monza this weekend.

Nieuwenhof goal was a screamer. The footwork and finish. I really hope he can settle in and find consistency. 

It's encouraging Peupion and Francois are in and around the first team squads.

Interesting thing with Hall to BHA is he'll stick with the underage squad rather than getting loaned out. Looking forward to tracking his progress and an interesting test to see if the alternate route gets him ahead of Gauci in the long run
