We're getting into R3 this weekend of our updated 16 Club divs.
Some interesting results in all grades by those promoted and in top flight couple of heavy defeats of late against regulars that was surprising.
Great seeing this change developing but at such a early start of the season.
Young fella has gone to a Cro related Association PL1 Club haha, love it got the cheqs on their socks and emblem, my chants are varied oi oi oi haha

yer I'm pretty excitied how the NPL season is gonna go, huge year now that life is settling back to normal.
FORZA alright, think they have recruited well - Romero looks the damn goods, hope he retains that kind of form ! 4 in a game a hoot.
Bit of info and he's US born.
Done pretty good through the US system, school squad 23 games for record 32 netted.
Went to Sweden for a seson maybe 2 then here pre covid.
Romero had a solid 2021 season playing with St George City as the ace marksman racked up an incredible 19 goals in 16 matches and was leading the Football NSW League 1 Men’s Golden Boot charts until Covid put a halt to all football activities.

As for me :( I've had to succumb to the boss, was given the sick of being a football widow all our married life threat yaddyaddayadda or its finito, yer right should I or shouldn't I ? hahaha I asked myself.
So thinking away thought you know what - she's right I can't argue against her feelings I've had a rippa long run (unlike you eating too much souvla and drinking to numb the pain haha) so mentally at this stage I'm taking a "sabbitical" and confirmed to her yes ok I won't play.

I'll miss it like mad but I will enjoy the spare time to watch both the boys play and even stomach watching my daughter at Sat netball ffs hahaha

WTF Esteban why bother signing midfielders anymore? Was comfortable against a young Moreland side but we will have a rough year against  Oaks, Bergers, Gully, Port and Knights playing like that.

Didn't miss much mate.. Flat game of anti football by Hellas and Farcical defending for BOTH Bergers goals.... Heidelberg, with 3 goals from 5 games managed to score two of those at Lakeside :(...

But at least I picked up these beauties for me and my levendi....

Not true mate, the crowd was pretty shit for a derby, maybe 1500 tops..... Great win for the Bergers, their fans were loving it..... shit night for us though :(
Such a shame that the game wasn't played yesterday though, right after the Greek Independence day event at Lakeside.... Great to see a vibrant community still alive... there are talks of trying to work with FA (Although Im sure Oakleigh will veto it as much as possible) for this event to tie in to next years NST matchday program between us and Bergers (if we both get in) ... 

  

That was a tough match to a Dinamo that doesnt lose easily at home.... much better boys, big game against Oaks on the weekend, lets hope Preston batter the shit out of them mid week for the cup :)

Yeah weve got a bit of a goldmine of young talemt coming through the youth teams... That Georgie Tistsiniaras I was rvaing on about the other day came on second half on Sunday and did very very well, all hustle and bustle... One to watch in the future I think.

Haven't watched many games this season, just two, not sure who's the favourite, probably south id imagine judging by ladder positions, hopefully its a cracking game.

And good luck to you too buddy... The game will be a scrappy affair like it always is at JE ... Will be shocked if not at least 1 red card...  We have the worst form there and Oaks, whilst shaky at the back without Oscar Dillon, are still firing up front.... 

Crowd will be shithouse as alot of South fans are boycotting this game, Ill be there because Im a masochist I suppose :(  - Bring cash if anyone is coming, Oakleigh are STILL the only club in NPL VIC without EFTPOS facilities.....

I dont blame them, Oakleigh are deeply in bed with the federation (figuratively and literally speaking) and rightly or wrongly many feel that this earns them certain favourable privileges... 

Too many "issues" to go through but one prime example is Joe Guest's aggravated assault on Thedoridis from the Bergers... Joe gets 2 x weeks (just in time to play South **coincidentally**)  and the poor keeper is probably out for half a year........ Anyone else on NPL VIC, or anywhere in the world for that matter would be out for months......
