+x+xSo as far as I can tell the rumours are (I will have forgotten a bunch I'm sure): Want to get out: Ndombele > Inter Milan (Genoa offer rejected by player) Holjberg > Man U, Atletico Lloris (Somewhere in Italy I forget) Sanchez > Fulham Lo Celso > Barca (would have been linked to Fati) Reguilon > Man U, somewhere in Spain Dier > Bayern Munich sniffed (doesn't want to leave) Also willing to deal on Tanganga and Perisic. Confirmed loan: Djed Spence to Leeds Interest in: Rodrygo (Real Madrid) Johnson (Forest) Fati (Barca - more likely to Brighton) Gallagher (Chelsea) Eze (Palace) Bakayoko (PSV) Tosin (Fulham - Old Rumour) Orban (Gent - Old Rumour) A lot of fans want Vlahovic. Leaving it late! Johnson deal done I think? I haven't seen it confirmed. Last I read Tottenham were baulking at Forests $40 million evaluation. Appreciating Forest turned down $43 million for him earlier in the transfer window. Apparently attention is on Eze atm. but this may just be a tactic to pressure Forest on Johnson. Reguilon looking more serious to Man U with Cucurella deal falling over according to media. It's interesting Tottenham aren't linked to any CB or no. 9's really. I guess wide forwards with pace with Son centrally may be the thinking. Back-up for Maddison with the Gallagher rumour. That means Sanchez and Dier are up if there are injuries at CB. A lot rides on Son and Richarlison and their form has not been great.

+x+x+xI agree, the first XI plus one or two others are good but there are so many who are bad in the squad. Some of them will not leave and seem content to run out their contract. Ndombele being the prime example but how is Lloris still at the club, will Dier and Sanchez stay as well. It seems Spurs are trying to bring in Ansu Fati on loan which would be very good but I highly doubt it will happen. Ansu Fati got the Here We Go to Brighton just this morning, but I think Athleti are also circling so it's not 100% complete but 95% sure he's going to Brighton. I think Sanchez stays because Levy is not going to give Ange a CB in time before the window closes and he's the best of a bad bunch. Lloris wants to be a #1 at a Champions League level club (delusions of grandeur). Ndombele is on 200k/week and can literally rot in the U21's and be content with his life. As someone who has no dog in this fight, I follow the EPL but don't have a team in it as my family are from Argentina, Spurs as a club seem to have really lost their way under Levy. I always thought it was a big gamble by Ange to take the Tottenham job knowing Kane was on the way out and Levy is such a scrooge. Yes Ansu Fati is going to Brighton but not before there were reports that he was going to Tottenham. It seems Levy baulked at paying all of Fati's wages and Brighton swooped in and agreed to pay all his wages. Also having European football might have helped. Ange has been Levy'd this window. Not surprised.

It was a big thing at the time though for an Argentinian to play in England ... what a little magician Ardiles was though. His mate Ric Villa was pretty good too-scored a fantastic goal in an FA Cup final against Man City from memory.

+x+xThe Ansu Fati one is weird to me, will he be able to succeed in the EPL? Sounds more like Barca trying to free up cash after spurs weren't interested in Lenglet. Going to need 3 or 4 guys to leave before Ange will be able to bring anyone in. Pretty annoying. Fati is going to Brighton mate. thanks for the quick update mate you seem to auto reply on my posts lol

Lloris rejected a move to Lazio recently. Deadwood Dier how he hasn’t gone somewhere yet is similar to McGuire - seems no one wants him. Fati would be a buy it seems amongst talk of others before deadline.

That’s their point Enzo that for years they keep having just a bare 11/15 players decent enough start up players. They are not ignorant but pissed and livid with Levy.

yeah the spurs fans are livid but completely ignorant of how little depth their squad has. A serious injury to Bissouma or Madisson and its game over for the season.

+x+xHe has a very limited squad, and it doesn’t seem that he has had the opportunity yet to be able to spend much more than bare minimum. I think they will go harder in the mid-season transfer market but there’s a lot of challenges to overcome until that happens.
As for this game, they went out on pens to a fellow EPL side. It’s not a disaster, but yes just brings out the fears of some fans that seem content to thrive on the negative or small picture view. Ange has to prioritise the league and FA cup this year, and trying to do everything all at once is not wise. Like it or not the EPL is relentless. Every club has their "level". For Tottenham, it's traditionally been the Cups. They've only become a top 4 side ever since Harry took them there. Treating the Carabao Cup as a hit-out for your second-string XI is like a red-rag to a bull. Ange seriously is playing with fire here. The fans will turn on him as quickly as they've backed him if he tries that shit again. Mark. My. Words. might of been a way to get fans to put pressure on the board for signings..... it was mostly a 2nd string side showing a 'real' lack depth in the team they needing 5-6 players and thats before selling Kane they get 100m for him and havent spent shit not to mention saving on his MASSIVE wages, the board at Totenham are a bit of a disgrace imho they should get at least 4 players before the window ends but the probably wont get more then 1 or 2

+xDav some of your comments are a bit out of range but I suppose its your pov. Kane has 58 from 84 NT games, if you think thats MIA alot I suppose depends on the games circumstances when he was MIA. For Spudz and being a UK overated player as you say imo he's delivered above many unlike, rashford, he's one gone MIA countless times compared to Kane comparing apples with apples. 213 goals from 317 spudz games lol, if he's gone MIA like any player you lose form now and then - what top striker or player doesn't go through a bad spell...... No ambition is also a strange one to say. 2 games for Bayern for 3 goals. Ange was always gonna be under the microscope as any newbie in the epl would be and inheriting a underperforming club - he's been fortunate the way things have gone to date. Its only 3 games in but knocking off your lot was completely against all odds and a credit to his work behind the scenes. Burnley will be a tuffer nut to crack away compared to united just saying. i agree he is a better then Rashford who is all 'good' but imho another 'over-rated' English player The English/UK media was comparing Rashford to Mbappe just a few years ago - im a UTD fan he isnt even close to that level but the fact this shit happens kind of shows how dumb some of the pudits are.... if we use Lfc as an example i got pudits saying Nunez can take Salahs place if he leaves after ONE good game lmao

+xI finally got able to listen to this…… and didn’t some of us say good luck whilst under Levy’s reign. Even worse is the old foggie owner is a 6time billionaire. I can talk some may say but LFC has its own similar probs due to their yanky loaded owners we’ve just been fortunate they shelled out on good buys here and there and Klopp. As the bloke mentioned winning gaffas they have had but the squad is thinner than LFC’s for eg so it is good luck to Ange there is a long way to go but as I mentioned some pages back let’s see where they are on the ladder come Dec, that will be when the line is drawn or not. Listened to a couple of minutes of this. How old mate didn't have a heart attack I don't know.

+x+xTreating the Carabao Cup as a hit-out for your second-string XI is like a red-rag to a bull. Ange seriously is playing with fire here. The fans will turn on him as quickly as they've backed him if he tries that shit again. Mark. My. Words. I doubt Ange gives a f*ck. Remember he's built his career doing things his way rather than capitulating to fan and media pressure.
The Crapao cup is meaningless and worthless. from Ange'a perspective he needs to build a squad for the future to compete in the EPL and ECL. That means trialling different players to see who is up to standard and who isn't, especially while the transfer window is still open. He can't afford to do that during EPL games, so if not the Crapao cup when? I don't think Ange put out a "second string" team, he hasn't even worked out his best starting xi.
As Ange said, get used to turbulence. The whole Ange idolatry is ridiculous anyway, he's won two games ffs. Lol I know it's the Crapao Cup that Citeh have won 6 out of the last 10, but It's a trophy the Spurs fanbase probably wanted Ange to take seriously.
