+x+x+x+x+xHahahahaha 'How much of a jump is this for you?' Ange: I don't know what you mean by jump. I'm assuming you mean I worked at a lower level. I guess that's a matter of opinion. I coached at a world cup and against some of the best teams in the world. I see it as a new opportunity. Exactly lol. And tbh i'd actually argue Japan's top league is at a higher level (definitely technically) than Scotland. Loved hearing him say 'I'll back my judgement above everyones elses'. He's gonna ruffle some feathers with that Ange bristle, and we're going to love the ride. A moment or two gave me some concerns the two others at the conference could stab him in the back but generally it was very supportive. If the start goes pear shaped I fear it could turn quickly. It shouldn't. Even if Celtic finished 4th this season, a true clean slate after those contracts run out with Ange's own squad will be the truer indication. Klopp didn't have instant success at his clubs. He will have the backing from most of us fans. But if he doesn't deliver, and deliver fast then things will start to change - and things can change fast. Winning the League this season is extra important, more so then any previous for around 13-15yrs(ish), as the league winners get direct qualifications for the group stage for next seasons Champions League, and all the much needed extra funds. If he starts off slow, and falls off the pace, than he will only add extra pressure on himself. But that demand for instant success is not giving Ange or any manager a fair go. That’s fine if that is the expectation, who am I to downgrade others expectations but from what I have been reading on Celtic Facebook fan groups, the team needs about half a dozen quality players brought in, very quickly (as in within the next week or two at the latest), or that 25 point gap with Rangers will get bigger. This is the view of other Celtic fans not Ange supporters. So what happens if these players are not brought in? Even Guardiola or Mourhinho or Klopp couldn’t do much you’d imagine. I guess it’s a problem with fanatical fans worldwide, the massive gap between expectation and reality. Sometimes patience is required to rebuild. Seems to me if Celtic are to win the league this coming season, regardless of the manager, the chequebook has to be opened up big time, immediately. Fairly or unfairly the manager is almost always the lightning rod for criticism. Football evokes a mob-mentality passion and as we know mobs aren't always exactly rational.

Really enjoy it. Watched and compared some of Lennon's stuff. Just a lame duck. Then I went and watched our full matches against Saudi and UAE away. Good times but moments annoyed me where maybe we did step of the gas. Any time there are decent players or coaches I think a lot of people forget there is still an opposition to spoil it.

The funniest thing was reading the comments for that video and seeing people say that’s how to coach juniors, not seniors.
Let’s be honest, the only way to drill into a team in sport or work is by repetition and reinforcement of structures and skills. To enable that, in this case he is pushing away the legacy of past engrained coaching that many may have had to bring through what he expects.
It will be a very challenging start I tend to think, as he has only a few weeks until the UCL qualifier and SPL season, with many squad places required to be filled. Ange’s style takes some time to click, and the limited time available will likely leave some Celtic fans a bit concerned if it doesn’t go well quickly. That’s when the pressure will ramp up.

Watching that video, Ange is getting them ready but also a snippet of how he coaches he's style almost every player he has coached in the past are highly impressed with Ange so this clip doesn't surprise me.

Technically, the J League is better overall than SPFL. ‘Paradise’ as in Glasgow or Ireland??!

Paradise is a nickname for Celtic Park. well he didn't really defend the J-League standard though, he basically said he had coached at the World Cup against top quality teams- which is a fair enough reply but he didn't exactly do much at WC level, it would be like Neil Lennon calling himself a Champions League manager. The video looks good, confident in his ability to coach and not scared of showing it to the public- although it has to be taken into account there are about 5 first team players back at training so far, wait until the guy he just resigned (Leigh Grifiths) comes back into training and starts undermining him- every manager he's played under at Celtic have commented about his unprofessionalism so not sure what's going to be different this time around

I thought we were good against chile in 2017 which is more of a test of ange as a coach. If maclaren could finish against top teams we draw. I think with better technical players he will be able to implement his philosophy quicker.

Technically, the J League is better overall than SPFL. ‘Paradise’ as in Glasgow or Ireland??! Ange himself did in fact disagree about a jump up, as it was put to him in a press conference posted earlier in the thread. Paradise is a nickname for Celtic Park. Ok as in Parkhead. So many nicknames for celtic. ‘Bhoys’, ‘hoops’, ‘Paradise’. Jesus 🙏 Stadium name/nicknames.....Parkhead is the district/suburb of Glasgow where the stadium Celtic Park is located. The term/nickname " Paradise" goes back to the early 1890's when the club moved location and a journalist described the move to the new location was like leaving a graveyard to Paradise. Ever since the term/nickname stuck. Team name/nickname.....Name - Glasgow Celtic, or more commonly/simply known as "Celtic". The nickname of "the Hoops" is because of the hoops top of Celtic's main kit. It is one of the most recognised top throughout the world. As for the terms "Bhoys" and/or "Ghirls" is just what the players and fans are called. The added "h" in both boys and girls is how the words are pronounced. You missed out a few nicknames there.😉 Only a few. Don't want Balin Trev to have some sort of mind overload. Just keeping it simple for him 😉 Yep given my degree in electronics engineering you’d better keep it simple. And besides I really don’t care enough about whatever 50 nicknames given to a football club. Pretty crap nicknames compared to a good one like ‘The Red Devils’ for example Belgium or Manure aunited? Hahahahah

+x+x+x+x+x+x+xHahahahaha 'How much of a jump is this for you?' Ange: I don't know what you mean by jump. The "jump up" is from anything he has managed before to what he is about to/currently embark on (with all due respect to his previous rolls). I honestly hope he does exceptionally well, and bring the title back to Paradise. 🍀🇮🇪 Think Ange himself would disagree that it’s a ‘jump-up’. Pppfffftttt typical NSL monoethnic soccer club, catering to a foreign people, chanting in the wrong language, calling themselves by un-Australian or in this case Scottish names.... Amazing how they will soon be the most popular monethnic team in Australia..... f@rk me what a country we live in.
