Real shame, because it's awesome that he has the courage to go and and play the game. But coaches are also there to get results
Let's see at the end of the group stage how he has fared, smaller teams than Celtic in recent times have gotten results away to Madrid so it is possible. Europe was his massive test, a long way to go still.

Celtic played quite well, I agree he took an more pragmatic approach especially with seeing more rest defence than usual under Ange but it almost worked if only they took there chances.
McGregor was unlucky with hes effort but Maeda should have scored he's it was point blank then an 1 later they score off a counter but that's the quality of the UCL and Real Madrid as defending champions!
I dont expect Celtic to do alot in the group, at best they can hope for a Europa League spot by trying to finish 3rd but I think top 2 finish is a bridge too far for them at this stage as a club, but an wonderful experience for the players and especially for Ange.
